Kerin did not show any emotion on his face until Rukia left the room. But as soon as she was gone, Kerin's calm expression faded, and he looked agitated because of the truth.

"Ha, of course, I know what would happen with Meria and his family better than anyone else. But I also know that Meria does not want any interference. Otherwise, I would have gotten him out of this hellhole by now."

Kerin sighed before he pulled his band back.

He looked down, only to see his fist bleeding because of the hard he had gripped his palm.

The blood wet and reddened his hand, but Kerin healed in a few seconds.

He had many options to consider if Kerin wanted to help Meria, but he knew that they could have been more practical since Meria did not want to be helped in the first place.

'Fuck, I am stuck here. I don't know what to do anymore.'
