Casper looked at Lyla and Sid with a serious expression as the lights came back on.
Casper had been haunted by the mission they had abandoned. Fray never mentioned the existence of that lap or what's in it, which could only mean that even Fray doesn't know what's inside. And Casper had a bad feeling about it. He had tried to convince Rin to go with him, but he refused. So Casper had made up his mind to go alone.
"What!? Do you want to face that beast again? There's probably more of them there. And I'm still not fully recovered from the last time. I can't go with you even if I wanted to," Sid protested, his voice full of concern.
"That's why I will be going alone," Casper replied, his voice calm and indifferent toward Sid's presence.
"No, I'm going with you. I won't let you go by yourself," Lyla insisted, her voice determined.
"Why do you want to go with me?" Casper asked, puzzled. "Are you worried about me?"
