The grand hall was shrouded in sombre silence, the heavy atmosphere reflecting the grief that hung in the air. The grand platform at the front held four coffins, each bearing the weight of a life prematurely extinguished. Families encircled the caskets, tears streaming down their faces as they clung to one another for solace.
