Chapter 24: Meet-up
Time passed by, and the month of June had arrived. The filming of "Titanic" was completed by the end of March, and post-production had already started.
Kevin negotiated with 20th Century fox, and there response was quite lukeworm on the matter of Eve taking "There's something wrong about Mary". Although the reason they gave was that Eve is too small for the role, but everyone knows its a lie. With the recent bad news surrounding the "Titanic", even Fox studio has started to create an invisible distance from Eve and Leonardo.
They don't know how much damage the shipwreck will cause, but they don't want to harm their other projects because of it. So, even if not openly, Eve has also been added to the boycott list of Fox.
In fact, even Liam was opposed to Eve taking the role. Although his reason was genuinely the first one.
Liam looked at his daughter: "Eve, can't you take another script. I think it's not good enough."

In the coffee shop, Eve sat opposite to Leonardo, enjoying her coffee quietly. After the shooting of "Titanic" completed last month, they only met today after a whole month.
Leonardo felt bored and slumped his head on the table.
Eve asked: "What's the matter with you. You look so annoyed today. Did you not sleep well last night or got dumped?"
Leonardo immediately retorted: "I am Leonardo DiCaprio, no one can dump. I am just bored today. There's nothing to do."
"Can you please keep your volume low, or else I am leaving." Eve twitched the corners of her mouth. Sometimes, she really wants to beat him so badly. Suddenly, he seemed to have thought of something, and said: "Eve, why don't you come with me if you are free at the time. We can even enjoy vacations in Paris together in this way."
Eve was about to reject immediately, but then she was tempted when thinking about vacations in Paris. Anyway, she would be free those days. She replied:
"I can't promise, but if I am free then I would visit you for sure."
