The Blood Fusion Ritual

The crimson and azure blood gleamed under the night, with a faint glow of magical energy flowing within them.

**Magical Item: Dragon Blood**

**Description: This blood is extracted from a young Norwegian Ridgeback dragon. Although its activity and magical power are less than those of an adult Norwegian Ridgeback, it possesses the same potential...**

**Magical Item: Unicorn Blood**

**Description: This blood is taken from an adult female unicorn and possesses immense vitality. Drinking it can even save a life on the brink of death, delaying the inevitable embrace of the Grim Reaper! However, those who prolong their life in this way will suffer a curse upon their existence.**

Faced with the blood of two extraordinary creatures, Evan found himself in a dilemma, uncertain which one to incorporate.

Undoubtedly, both were top magical beings, endowed with immense magical powers. Fusing with either would significantly enhance his abilities.

"System, can I add both at once?" Evan, afflicted with decision paralysis, asked hopefully.

But, as expected, there was no response. Evan couldn't help but lament the absence of a system sprite that legends spoke of, where every functionality required his own discovery.

To avoid any conflict between the two types of blood, Evan ultimately didn't dare to attempt such a risky act. After all the preparation, failing due to greed would be a huge loss.

After much deliberation, Evan chose the unicorn blood.

After all, Norbert was just too small, and the magic and activity in his blood were somewhat inferior to that of an adult dragon. Although the potential was the same, who knew how long it would take to fully realize it.

Although there's a mention of an unknown curse in the unicorn blood description, that's only in the case of directly drinking it to delay death.

As far as he knew, due to the enormous vitality in unicorn blood, it's required in many advanced medical potions, and he hadn't heard of any side effects.

As the blood entered, the initially transparent liquid in the cauldron gradually tinted azure. Evan, without further hesitation, drank the blood fusion potion.

The potion tasted somewhat bitter but was tolerably palatable. After drinking, Evan smacked his lips, feeling no different...

Just as he was wondering, a bone-deep itchiness surged throughout his body. The blood coursing through him seemed to boil, accompanied by a rapid increase in magical power.

But Evan felt no joy, only immense fear.

The previously dormant magical power within him lost control with its growth, chaotically radiating in all directions...

The bottles and jars on the table exploded violently, and the next moment, furniture was flung across the room...

Evan gritted his teeth, acutely aware of the potion aggressively altering his body. The tumultuous magic threatened to tear him apart.

Evan then recalled from the book "Bloodline Origins" that the blood fusion ritual was highly risky, with most wizards ending up dead or monstrously deformed. Otherwise, ordinary wizards wouldn't be the mainstream.

Just when Evan thought his body was about to tear apart, the world before him changed. The pain faded, and the surging magic transformed from a towering wave into a gentle stream.

More importantly, his consciousness seemed to spread into every corner of the storage room with the magic, placing everything under his control.

Within the range of his magic, he was an omnipotent god!

Evan, with a newfound realization, tried to levitate the fallen table slightly. Without any spellcasting motions, just a thought was enough to float the mahogany table in the air,

Only to then smash it against the ceiling...

Evan's mouth twitched. He really had intended to lift it just a bit.

Despite the failure, Evan wasn't discouraged.

In this peculiar state, Evan was like a child with a new toy, continuously infusing more magic into the mahogany table.

Reaching a certain limit, Evan could clearly perceive everything inside the table, even every wooden fiber was deconstructed and displayed in his mind...

Sensing the structure of objects with magic... Professor McGonagall's words echoed in Evan's mind, along with the system's rapid alert beeps.

**Ding, through exploration and practice, your proficiency in Transfiguration has greatly increased, now upgraded to level four...**

**Ding, through exploration, your proficiency in Transfiguration has greatly increased...**

**Ding, through...**

If this were any other time, Evan would have been ecstatic, but now, he felt capable of much more, such as achieving a genuine biological transformation.

Not a temporary change in the nature of an object through standard Transfiguration, but a complete transformation of an object into a living creature from the inside out!

As soon as Evan entertained this thought, the solid wooden table began to deform and twist. Under the manipulation of magical power, it resembled putty, morphing and stretching repeatedly.

The system alerts in his mind began to rapidly scroll again, but Evan ignored them, focusing entirely on shaping the form of an animal.

Gradually, under the influence of magical power, the wooden fibers transformed into flesh cells. Before long, a "Fawkes" with golden-red feathers and a beautiful tail appeared before Evan.

However, this "Fawkes" didn't seem too intelligent, its gaze empty. Were it not for the occasional twitching of its feathers and fluttering of its wings, Evan might have doubted whether it was alive.

Even so, he had created a phoenix, or at least something resembling one. It lacked any magical power, and its tears wouldn't heal wounds...

Evan even had the cheeky thought of secretly swapping it with Dumbledore's Fawkes to see if he could obtain a real phoenix without notice. How long would it take Dumbledore to realize?

Nonetheless, this wasn't enough for Evan. He even wanted to imbue the phoenix with magical power, transforming it into a real magical creature.

Just as Evan was entertaining this thought, a sudden sense of weakness overwhelmed him. The previously obedient surge of magical power once again plunged into chaos...

This led to the painstakingly created phoenix being violently torn apart by the turbulent magic...
