Chapter 162: Tang Wulin Invitation
Because they were far away, Tang Wulin and the others didn't notice Anping and Gu Yuena's presence. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant in a hurry, presumably to seek Cai Yue'er and Wu Zhangkong's approval.
Anping watched Shrek's people depart and set up a magic barrier. He said, "This might be our chance if they go."
Gu Yuena frowned and said, "But isn't that more risky? Tang Wulin has that person's consciousness in him. What if he fully recovers with the help of the planet's will and the life core? We'll be in trouble."
Anping explained, "If we go alone, we'll be the prime suspects if anything weird happens. If there are more people, there will be more possibilities. And I need to make some preparations."
He took Gu Yuena back to their room. By preparations, he meant an information simulator. He had to face the potential appearance of Tang Hao and A Yin, and even Tang San who was about to regain his consciousness.
He couldn't completely block his own information and only sense the energy level as before. But if he revealed his and Gu Yuena's information to them, who knew what they would do.
The two of them were closely related to the Silver Dragon King. One was the Silver Dragon King himself, and the other's body was made of the Silver Dragon King's energy. If they exposed that, it would be the same as telling them that they were either the Silver Dragon King or his accomplices.
What Anping didn't know was that his aura had always been hidden by the sky of truth, and the virtual poems he had made before were unnecessary.
The reason Gu Yuena could sense Anping's aura was mainly because part of the energy in his body came from her, and she had a connection with it.

While Anping was busy making alchemy tools, someone knocked on the door. Gu Yuena got up and opened it. She saw Tang Wulin standing outside. She asked coldly, "What are you doing here?"
Tang Wulin greeted her with a sunny smile and said, "I have something to discuss with you. I think you'll be interested. Can I come in and talk?"
Gu Yuena remembered what had happened at the restaurant earlier and guessed that Tang Wulin's visit had something to do with An'an Town. She wanted to hear what he had to say, so she said, "I hope you're telling the truth."
She stepped aside and let Tang Wulin enter the room. She didn't call Anping out, not wanting to disturb him while he was making alchemy tools. She brought Tang Wulin to the living room.
Tang Wulin sat down on the sofa without any hesitation. Gu Yuena sat opposite him and said, "What do you want to tell me?"
Tang Wulin didn't get to the point right away, but smiled and said, "We've been classmates for a long time, so why are you so cold to me?"
Gu Yuena said calmly, "If you have something to say, just say it. If not, please leave. I'm not here to be friends with you."
Tang Wulin felt a bit frustrated by Gu Yuena's attitude. If it weren't for Tang San's divine consciousness telling him that this girl would be of great help to him in the future, he wouldn't bother to contact her at all.
He thought for a moment and then said, "You must remember the change that happened at the banquet when we first boarded the ship. I've received some news that it may be related to a small town outside Star Luo City."
She already knew about the existence of that town, but Gu Yuena pretended to be confused and said, "The ship had just left Skysea port when the banquet was held. How could it have anything to do with a small town in the Star Luo Empire?"
Tang Wulin said, "I know it sounds unbelievable. I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen the photo with my own eyes. The scene at the banquet was exactly the same as the celebration stage in a small town outside Star Luo City."
He took out his phone, lit up the screen and showed Gu Yuena the photos. She looked at them and nodded. "It's quite bizarre indeed. So why did you come to us?"
Tang Wulin put his phone away and said, "Some students from the Star Luo Royal Academy organized an exploration team. I got invited because I know one of them."
"You must have felt the change too. Even the Titled Douluo couldn't resist it, so we think it may be related to the legendary god. That place might be the inheritance site of a certain god."
He paused and added, "According to what I've learned, there are usually divine tests in places where gods leave their inheritance. Even if you can't get the god's legacy, passing the test can boost your strength greatly."
He observed Gu Yuena's expression carefully, but saw no change in it.
He continued, "I don't know why you and Anping dislike Shrek Academy, but we're both from the Sun Moon Federation, so I want to invite you to join us in exploring that town."
"If it's just a mistake, you won't lose much. But if it's really the god's inheritance site, we can take the test together and improve our strength."
If she hadn't known what was in Anxi Town, Gu Yuena would have rejected Tang Wulin's request without hesitation. But now he actually came to invite them along.
She didn't know what he was planning, but it was a good opportunity for her and Anping. She couldn't refuse, so she nodded and said, "We agree. Just call us when you set off."
After getting Gu Yuena's reply, Tang Wulin didn't stay any longer. He stood up and left. It was only after Gu Yuena closed the door that he asked in his mind, "Old Tang, did you see anything?"
The invitation to Anping and Gu Yuena was Tang San's idea. He wanted to see if his guess about Gu Yuena being the Silver Dragon King was true.
He thought that if she was really the Silver Dragon King, she wouldn't join them in anything related to the gods. He knew that the Silver Dragon King was hostile to the existing gods.
Tang San sighed in his consciousness and said, "Maybe I was wrong, but since she can trigger your aura, you must have a martial soul fusion skill with her. I suggest you try to get along with her first."
Tang Wulin felt a bit of curiosity when he heard Tang San say that he and Gu Yuena had a martial soul fusion skill. He knew how powerful that was, especially the one that Anping and Gu Yuena had. He had experienced it himself.
And for some reason, he felt a strange attraction to Gu Yuena.
