Chapter 209: Change of plans

As we were about to leave, the little girl suddenly reached out towards us as if she wanted to stop us.

But when she touched the cage, there was some kind of force that suddenly pushed her back.

It seemed like she wasn't able to touch the cage without being hurt by it.

So we quickly went back over to the cage and stopped her from trying to follow us.

When she saw us come over, she said, "Please don't go, please don't leave me alone."

The way that she said this with wide eyes that were filled with tears, it was almost as if we were abandoning her.

It really made us feel strange, but I took the lead to say, "We're not leaving you, we're going to find a way to take you with us. But we need to find a way to open the cage first, so that's why we have to leave this room for a bit. We promise that we'll be back very soon."
