"Damn!" Kaido cursed under his breath as he reverted to his human form, suspended momentarily in the sky.

But without the power of flight in this shape, he found himself plummeting down, crashing onto the deck of the warship with a thunderous "Bang!"

The impact was colossal, sending huge waves cascading around the warship, almost swallowing the bow beneath the churning sea.

The Marines had come prepared, their large warship barely withstanding the force of the beastly Kaido's descent. It was a good thing too, because anything less sturdy would have been splintered into driftwood upon his fall.

As he opened his eyes, the whites were stained with the red of his fury, a clear testament to the damage the recent lightning strike had inflicted upon him.

Yet, Kaido stood unmarked, his resilience legendary; Brontes's fierce lightning attack hadn't even singed a hair on his head.

"If you don't hand over the seastone, you're all going to die!" Kaido's roar was a promise of destruction, his voice rolling like thunder across the waves.

"This is going to be a bit troublesome..." A voice suddenly resounded through the air, but it was very low barely above whisper.

In the blink of an eye, a flash of light appeared before Kaido, and a man appeared, his foot glowing with a golden, shimmering light.

"This is..." Kaido's words was cut short.

"Boom!"

The beam struck him squarely in the chest, the piercing light blasting through him and causing a violent explosion in the sea behind. Kaido looked down, eyes widening at the gaping hole in his chest, then back up at the man standing before him.

"Another Logia Devil Fruit user!" Kaido hissed through clenched teeth.

"We meet again, Kaido." Borsalino said, his voice laced with a cold sneer.

"The little brat by Sengoku's side." Kaido recognized him instantly. It hadn't been long since he'd clashed with Sengoku, and Borsalino, with his incredible speed and devastating attacks, had made a lasting impression during their battle.

"You Damn!!!" Kaido's roar was filled with rage as he reached out to grab Borsalino.

"Truly an undying monster." Borsalino mused: "Even with such a severe injury, he moves as if it's nothing."

With that, Borsalino transformed into his elemental form, becoming intangible, and Kaido's massive hand closed on nothing but air.

"ZliZli!!! Rumble!!!"

The sky crackled ominously as another bolt of lightning tore through the clouds, heading straight for Kaido.

"Boom!!!!"

With impeccable timing, Kaido swung his fist, colliding with the electric attack. The lightning shattered, an incredible display of raw power. Only a true monster could break the heavens' wrath with his bare hands, and Kaido was such a monster.

As the remnants of the lightning faded, Brontes made his move, darting through the air with agility that belied his size, repositioning himself on the opposite side of Kaido.

Kaido's battle-hardened instincts were unmatched; his Observation Haki was much more powerful than theirs, allowing him to track Brontes's erratic movements with ease, even as he manipulated the chaotic dance of lightning.

"Boom! Boom! Rumble!"

The air was alive with the sound of thunder, each bolt of lightning an extension of Brontes's will, yet Kaido met them all with his fists, shattering them with a precision that belied his monstrous form.

"Annoying flies!" He shouted, frustration mounting as Brontes's persistent attacks disrupted his rhythm. Kaido's massive arms swung wildly, batting at the relentless storm of electricity.

Meanwhile, Borsalino was relentless, exploiting his devil fruit powers to launch a barrage of sneak attacks. The two Logia users were a blur, their incredible speed a cage around Kaido, forcing him into a defensive stance as they struck from all sides.

Kaido's might was legendary; he had withstood the Earthquake attacks of Whitebeard himself. But against the combined assault of two Logia wielders, he found himself at a rare disadvantage.

The sea, usually his ally in battle, where his destructive force knew no bounds, was of little use when his foes were as elusive as the wind, striking from the air with the unpredictability of a storm.

Brontes's lightning was particularly troublesome. Even as Kaido shattered one bolt, another would follow, a relentless torrent that left him no quarter for counterattack.

"Roar! You damn Marine Bastard!" Kaido's rage reached its zenith.

The red scales tattooed across his body began to shift, spreading until they encased him in an armor of dragon scales.

"Roar!!"

With a deafening roar, Kaido's form was engulfed in a dense layer of Armament Haki, and a fearsome red aura erupted from him, the unmistakable sign of Conqueror's Haki.

"Boom!!!"

His anticipatory punch detonated through the air, creating a shockwave that obliterated the lightning before it could even touch him.

Were it not for the seastone embedded within the warship's structure, Kaido might have already reduced everything around him to rubble.

Brontes and Borsalino knew this well, and they used it to their advantage, pressing their attack with the knowledge that the seastone was the only thing keeping Kaido's full wrath at bay.

Both Brontes and Borsalino knew their options were limited. With no reinforcements to call upon due to the covert nature of their mission, they were acutely aware that drawing more attention to their battle with Kaido would only escalate the already dire situation.

Kaido, at this point in time, was without the formidable ranks of the Three Calamities or the Flying Six that would later bolster the strength of his Yonko pirate crew.

His forces consisted merely of the Beast Pirates' rank and file, with even Jack The Drought yet to pledge his allegiance.

"We've got to end this battle as soon as possible." Borsalino said, his voice carrying a weight of solemnity, his breaths coming slightly heavier as he assessed their predicament.

"Is that your brilliant idea, Borsalino? Then can you kill this guy?" Brontes retorted with a roll of his eyes, his tone dripping with skepticism.

"Well, no, I can't, okay? Even Sengoku-san couldn't do anything to him." Borsalino admitted, shaking his head in resignation.

"He's a Devil Fruit user; try to blast him off the ship into seawater, that may give us some time to get away from here." Brontes suggested, grasping at the only strategy that seemed viable.

Kaido, cursed by the sea like all Devil Fruit users, would be rendered powerless if submerged, despite his title as the strongest creature in the world.

"That's the only way. Sengoku-san also used this method to get rid of this guy. Capturing him won't work either, as he would definitely break out, even from Impel Down." Borsalino agreed, recalling past attempts to contain the indomitable force that was Kaido.

"We already have a plan, let's go all out." Brontes said seriously.

"It's been a while since I've had to fight like this." Borsalino expressed, the fatigue evident in his voice.

"Just don't muddle through, now it's not the time to play around." Brontes chided, giving Borsalino a pointed look.

"I know, I'm a bit prepared for this situation, but you're stronger than me, I can only hold him off, and you are the main player." Borsalino conceded, acknowledging the dynamic of their impromptu partnership.

"Let's go."

"Thor's Enhancement!"

Brontes invoked his power with a low shout, and a surge of lightning enveloped him. His physique expanded, muscles bulging in a display reminiscent of the future Supernova, Urouge, who was known for his dramatic transformations.

"So this is a physical enhancement method, a crazy move only a madman like him would come up with." Borsalino observed as Brontes's form swelled with power, a mix of awe and disbelief in his tone.
