Boom!
Boom boom boom!!!
Just like when the destructive power of the Destruction Celestial hit space earlier, the chaotic spacetime turbulence caused by the dark matter disintegration reappeared in this region.
The space that had just begun to calm down now looked like the bloodied, bullet-riddled body of a warrior who had been gunned down, full of holes and bleeding profusely.
It was a shocking sight.
"It's all destructive power!"
"!"
Zane was startled, but quickly reacted. He unleashed all the weapons he had stored inside, pouring them out continuously.
A protective shield formed, enveloping his body.
Then, with a twist of light and shadow, Zane appeared at the edge of the space.
The spacetime around him had already been torn apart and thrown into chaos by the annihilating force generated by the dark matter disintegration.
Because of this, Zane was unsure whether launching a long-range attack now would end up lost in the turbulent flow of spacetime.
He could only use short bursts of spatial jumps to flash to the outer edges of the galaxy.
In his mind, since the gravitational pull of the Destruction Celestial hadn't drawn this region in earlier, it indicated that its range of influence was likely limited.
This meant that the disintegration field might not extend here either.
At the very least, it could buy him some time to launch another attack.
But unexpectedly, not only did the weapons shield surrounding him continue to dissolve, the surrounding celestial bodies were also instantly disintegrated and vanished.
Not even a spark from the core of the planets burst out.
The massive bodies were completely and utterly consumed.
"The range has expanded! And there's no delay in its activation, or rather, within his disintegration field, time itself doesn't seem to exist."
Zane, now more experienced, quickly revised the data he and the network had previously analyzed. It was becoming closer to the truth.
"But, it seems I've found his weakness…"
The weapons shield around Zane continued to deplete his stockpile.
His eyes glowed red as the image of a momentary glimpse he had caught during his evasion appeared in his mind.
"As I thought!"
"When he releases his disintegration power, the defensive force around him is weakest, probably to prevent his own energy field from being affected."
"However, getting close to him will be a problem…"
Zane, seeing that his stockpile was nearly depleted, felt a twinge of concern.
"A mid-level seventh-dimensional Battle Celestial—truly troublesome."
"Let's try this move!"
"!"
As he finished speaking, Zane's entire body disappeared as if he had never existed.
Now that he had ascended to the seventh dimension, his mastery of this skill had become even more refined.
Perhaps the destructive force could not locate its primary target, or maybe the Destruction Celestial noticed Zane's sudden and inexplicable disappearance;
The surrounding force field paused for a brief moment.
"Now's my chance!"
Even 0.001 milliseconds was enough for Zane to reappear beside the Destruction Celestial.
Boom!
The paused disintegration field resumed its fierce release.
At that very moment, a black blade shadow appeared above the enormous head of the Destruction Celestial, who was curled up like a sphere.
Slash!
"I, Zane Sy, grant you…"
"Death!"
Zane's eyes were filled with a fierce determination as he raised his black scythe high above, appearing above the massive head of the Destruction Celestial.
The [King's Treasury] unleashed nearly all of its remaining weapons, shielding Zane.
Like a storm of arrows, they fiercely resisted the corrosive effect of the disintegration white light.
Just as he finished speaking, the scythe, engulfed in black flames, moved like a flash of lightning.
It carried the sentence of death, marking the end of another member of the pantheon.
With a swift motion, the scythe descended.
Blade light flashed.
A massive head, encased in fiery red armor and wearing an expression of utter disbelief, rolled to the ground.
But Zane knew the job wasn't finished yet. Without pause, he swung his blade once more at the remaining body of the Destruction Celestial.
The power of death surged.
Streams of light broke apart and dissipated.
Every last inch of the Celestial's body was thoroughly destroyed.
Having fought an Searcher before, Zane understood that these primordial beings of the pantheon had incredibly strong life forces.
As long as even a small part of their living body remained, they could potentially revive.
"I never thought that my own arrogance, which I tried so hard to suppress, would end up being my downfall…"
The fiery red armor on the Destruction Celestial's massive head gradually crumbled and flew away. His eyes, glowing red, flickered with weakness and frustration as he spoke.
"I can't accept this! It was just a momentary lapse, and it cost me my life!"
Zane looked at the Destruction Celestial indifferently, allowing him to continue speaking.
He knew exactly what the Celestial meant by "a momentary lapse."
At that time, Zane had used the God's Absence, making the Destruction Celestial believe that Zane had been unable to withstand the force field, and had been torn to shreds.
In truth, it wasn't entirely the Destruction Celestial's fault for being too arrogant or careless.
After all, God's Absence was a brand-new skill from the otherworld of Hunter x Hunter, completely unfamiliar in the Marvel universe.
It was normal for characters in the Marvel universe to hesitate when they first encountered it.
Moreover, with Zane now possessing six Infinity Stones and ascending to higher dimensions, he had developed the skill even further, turning it into a more concealed spatial ability.
Since most of the Marvel universe's main timeline had regressed to the four-dimensional realm, Zane, now in the seventh dimension, could use God's Absence to shift his true form into the seventh-dimensional space.
Unlike the Explorer's time-space projection, this skill left no trace in the four-dimensional reality.
So even the seventh-dimensional Destruction Celestial didn't notice anything unusual when he first encountered the skill.
He simply thought that Zane, this insignificant bug, had finally been disintegrated on the spot.
But by the time he realized something was wrong, Zane had already brought down his fiery red head with a swift stroke.
Now, under the influence of Zane's death energy, the red armor that covered the head was disintegrating into ash, slowly revealing the white bones beneath, starting from the chin.
"At first, I thought you, Zane Sy, were just a smuggler from some other derivative dimension…"
