Having been alone for countless ages, it longed for someone to communicate with. But when it finally found other life, those fragile beings brought it only one feeling: disappointment.
Compared to itself, they were far too weak—so weak that a single breath from it could destroy them.
After experiencing this disappointment, this unique being found a new goal: to assimilate the entire universe into itself.
It stubbornly believed that once everything was part of it, it would no longer be alone.
This being then began its journey through the entire universe, witnessing countless strange species and cosmic wonders.
This was Ego's life.
Zane experienced Ego's entire life from a godlike perspective, including the moment when Ego had once encountered the "Judge."
