Power Stone

While Gamora, leaning against the other side of the door, saw Zane and Rocket suddenly appear and immediately lost her previous relaxed state.

She slowly drew her weapon, keeping a vigilant eye on Zane.

But Zane couldn't be bothered with her, just looked at the sealed alloy door and smiled faintly.

"Rocket, blast it!"

Without hesitation, Rocket picked up the energy cannon attached to his back and fired several shots at the alloy door with an excited smile on his face.

This reckless life was simply exhilarating. Rocket used to be just an interstellar bounty hunter.

Despite his seemingly carefree appearance, he was always cautious and careful, unlike now when he was so reckless.

Suddenly, Star-Lord, who had been pushed to the door by the Broker because of revealing Ronan's name, was blasted into the air and crashed into a display platform.

Before encountering his father's awakening divine power, Star-Lord was at best just a normal person with slightly better physical abilities.

How could he withstand such an attack? He simply lay on the ground, the Cosmic Orb rolling off his hand and onto the ground.

As for whether he lived or died, Zane didn't care at all.

Zane's full attention was focused on the rolling Cosmic Orb, his eyes bursting with intense light.

The next moment, the power of death moved slightly, directly pulling the Cosmic Orb into his palm.

Seeing her target snatched away by Zane, Gamora couldn't bear it anymore.

She immediately raised the dagger in her hand and rushed towards Zane.

But when she was just about to reach Zane, she suddenly stopped her steps.

Because the Reaper's Scythe was already at her neck, leaving a bloody mark.

She believed that as long as she took one more step forward, she would bid farewell to this world completely.

"Behave yourself, otherwise, even if your father is Thanos, you won't be able to keep your head."

Zane stared at the rolling Cosmic Orb in his hand without looking back at Gamora.

"He's not my father!" Gamora retorted with a towering anger, as if touching on a taboo.

But Zane didn't pay any attention to him, directly teleported back to the Ark with Rocket.

An Infinity Stone was so easily obtained. If Zane weren't in a good mood now, Gamora might have died already.

Zane didn't fear Thanos. With the Reaper's Scythe and the newly acquired Power Stone, defeating Thanos was a sure thing.

Outside the Broker's door, Gamora was left alone in the wind, feeling aggrieved. As for Star-Lord, the protagonist who didn't know any better, he was still lying on the cold ground.

After returning to the Ark with the Cosmic Orb, Rocket curiously looked at the Cosmic Orb in Zane's hand and asked, "What's this thing? Is it worth your personal trip? Is it valuable?"

"From a monetary perspective, this thing is currently worth 4 billion credits if someone buys it."

Zane tossed the Cosmic Orb up and down in his hand.

Upon hearing this, Rocket's eyes instantly lit up with greed, subconsciously wanting to grab the Cosmic Orb.

But Zane picked it up in one hand.

"Forget it, this thing is useful to me."

"Can't we sell it? 4 billion!" Rocket said unwillingly.

"Have some pride! Do we look like we're short of money?" Zane said helplessly.

Rocket's mindset was still stuck in the past. In his previous life, not having money meant not having equipment, not having equipment meant not being able to beat others, not being able to beat others meant a miserable death!

So most bounty hunters and plunderers were a bunch of guys who were obsessed with money, including Rocket.

"You used to rob because you couldn't afford landing fees!" Rocket said indignantly, but the smirk at the corner of his mouth revealed his teasing nature.

Zane: "..."

Zane was speechless.

Frustrated, Zane stuffed the Cosmic Orb into his arms, grabbed Rocket's furry face with both hands, and began to ruthlessly knead it.

"You... bastard, let me go!"

After tormenting the cheeky little raccoon for a while, Zane, feeling finally relieved, threw a card that could be used for free consumption on Xandar to Rocket.

Instantly, Rocket, who had been jumping up to pound Zane's knees, suddenly calmed down.

He eagerly took the card and, with Groot, went out to experience the feeling of spending lavishly.

"Ah... he's still a kid after all!" Zane sighed as he watched Rocket's excited figure.

Then Zane entered his usual place of seclusion with the Cosmic Orb.

Then he forcefully broke open the Cosmic Orb, revealing the Power Stone inside emitting a purple halo.

The Power Stone allows the user to master and manipulate all the power and energy they seek.

Moreover, it can support other stones and enhance their effects.

Even its immense power can easily destroy a planet.

But there is a prerequisite, that is, the user must be powerful enough to fully control the energy of the Power Stone in order to unleash its power.

And if the user does not meet the minimum threshold of controlling the Power Stone, they will only be backlashed by the powerful energy of the Power Stone and turned to ashes.

At this time, the system detecting the existence of the Power Stone also sounded.

[Detected object with massive energy, do you want to merge it into the [Magic Furnace]?]

"Merge"

Zane immediately ordered the system. He was eager to see the changes the Power Stone would bring to him.

At the moment Zane gave the command, a mysterious power appeared from the void. This was the second time the system's power had manifested in reality.

The first time was when he first extracted the Space Stone from the Tesseract.

But Zane was different from five years ago. At that time, he could only vaguely sense the existence of the system's power.

But now that Zane had stepped into the threshold of realm of the gods, he could clearly feel this power.

But precisely because he could clearly sense it, he could deeply appreciate the horror of the system's power.

It was a kind of greatness that made people unable to raise any resistance thoughts. At this moment, Zane suddenly felt that he was no different from an ant.

When he first bound the system, Zane asked about the origin of the system.

Zane still remembered the system's answer clearly. It said it was an accidental product of the source of all worlds.

At that time, Zane didn't think much about it. After all, he was just an ordinary person who didn't understand what it meant.
