Affection in the Apocalypse

When Seth opened his eyes again, he found himself back in the post-apocalyptic world. Observing the somewhat hazy light outside the window, Seth checked his watch.

5:23 AM.

The time difference wasn't significant compared to the previous visit, but there was still a distinction. After a comfortable sleep in the second world, Seth was now alert and lacked any signs of drowsiness.

Cecilia lay on the floor covered with a cotton mat, dressed and slightly curled up, appearing a bit cold. The morning in the apocalypse exuded a chilling sensation, even to someone like Seth.

Seth walked to the front door of the kitchen and leaned against it, listening to the sounds outside.

"Grrr!~~~Grrr!~~~"

"Hehe~!~~Hehe!~~"

A low zombie growl and a series of shuffling sounds came from outside. By the sound of it, there seemed to be many zombies, and at this hour, they sounded particularly active.

Seth could even hear the sound of chewing not far away.
