Chapter 143: Consequences

"Lord Smarus, let's continue into the night~," Esha said in between kisses.

She was practically still on top of me, trying to get me to continue our time together. Truth be told, I was exhausted! This woman sucked the very life out of me. I sat up and took a deep breath. The sight and smell of what we had just done settled in.

"We shouldn't. Everything is a complete mess, and…Ah!" My eyes widened in what felt like fear.

'Lord Smarus, would you kindly come out please?' I heard Aurora's voice in my head.

The room felt heavy with pressure emitting from the meeting room. I looked over to Esha, and it looked like she felt it too. Even she was sitting up and looking for her clothes. Aurora was no joke.

The two of us got up, took a shower, and went out of the room. I was glad that there was a personal restroom in the master bedroom since I didn't want to go out smelling like… well, you know. I also had Anne clean up the room after we left.
