Chapter 79: The illusion of a new reality

Nathanael's POV:

"You can come in," I invite Avery inside.

He complies, making sure to close the door behind himself. He advances towards the bed where I sit and ends up standing in front of me, his hands behind his back. He asks no questions, but I can see the curiosity that fills his eyes. Though, I am glad he doesn't, the conversation that just took place between me and Accalia is not a subject I'd like to delve into with anyone in particular.

"You summoned me, Master," he starts, "Is there anything I can do for you?" he follows with that question.

"As a matter of fact, there is," I, too, pause for a split second before continuing, "Well, to be frank, I hope you can help me," 

"I'll do my best with whatever task you need me to perform," he says with a little smile on his face.
