Chapter 46: Chapter44-The Mistake of a Slave

Lilith followed Leo, hesitating to speak. 

It wasn't until they entered his office that she finally asked, "How did you do it?"

"What? Don't you believe I am a devout believer?" Leo, sitting in his chair, shrugged somewhat helplessly.

Lilith fought the urge to roll her eyes. 

If this man before her was a devout believer, then the demons of hell might as well be friends of the gods!

"Is it amusing to you?" Lilith asked.

"Amusing," Leo replied with a smile. 

In this world, there was nothing more interesting than deceiving the gods.

He stood up, walked over to Lilith, and patted her shoulder lightly. 

"There are things you don't need to know. Just follow me and believe in me," he said softly.

Lilith looked at Leo's profile, her eyes filled with complex emotions.

Moments later, she asked, "Don't you trust me?"
