Chapter 317: Sol Invictus
After going away from the Dark Justiciar, or should i call it Justiciara, I emerged within my office. My clones were still working away, each of them signing documents and various different papers as proposals and numerous ideas fluttered through my office. Decisions for the future were common and a massive multitude of logistical issues were present. So far I had put off dozens of events under the name of more important things or topics popping up, Pixel, Kali, Skadi, Illyana, Jean or Idun taking my place in the event, usually with another one of my wives.
Now however, i could not put that off. I needed to attend an event within the week, a gala for the opening of the first off-world mining station/logistic transport sight. It was very drab and boring, barely worth my time, but to be honest it was the first of its structural type within the civilian sector. I was taking Sol, Hel and Hela, my decision to take them influenced by my main wives who knew that they hadn't ever really come out with me for a public event. I could feel the headache coming on despite the fact the event was a little over five days away.
'Let's find something to distract myself...' I started to consider the options. I needed to make sure that the Imperium could function efficiently and with maximum technological prowess, something was needed to be finished soon... The planetary Rings and other related projects were under way, one segment out of thirty being completed. The completion had brought a massive change to that segment of the world as the weather controlling technology was being used enmasse for the betterment of Terra.
'Maybe I can create some Solar Structures to make travel easy and to ensure security?' I started to consider deploying space buoys where ships would easily be detected within several million miles or even lightyears, so that, no matter what happens, something or someone detects something potentially going wrong. It was interesting as an idea but kind of redundant and a little touch extra. With the Whitehole Machine, Justiciara, I could produce things practically infinitely, mining wasn't needed for the military anymore... The civilian sector would still need it as the money needed something to base itself off of. 'Potentially, I could create a large scale solar station, intended for space trade with Alderaan, Alfheim, Asgard, Vanaheim and Nidavellir. I would prefer not to have them meet on 'Human' territory, the sun station being something of a neutral ground to meet with these parties whilst also allowing for more diplomatic meetings and discussions. This brought me back to the planet of Ryloth, which was now a large world with a lot of Veritas Imperium Citizens. The culture of my Imperium had spread, infecting each sector of their world's society and making them see us in an elevated position.
Some of the first babies between Twi'leks and High Humans had begun, the majority of the babied being delivered by Twi'lek women, the human women finding the Twi'lek men revolting. I could sympathise with the plight of their looks but ultimately this was the decision of the people, not mine. The Twi'leks themselves have expanded and saved hundreds of thousands of their own from slavery, the previous tradition of slavery being accepted and cherished being abolished ever since the first Veritas interference. The planet had a connection to Terra Nova and was flourishing under the trade of materials that spread through both planets of the Veritas Imperium. The social feelings between the two species had even gotten to the stage where the military had started to gain Twi'lek recruits. These recruits were much less efficient and strong than high humans but they were appreciated for the admin aid they could give and the fact that they learnt quickly.
My mind wandered a little bit but ultimately came back to the matter at hand, the Imperium needed the solar station... I was thinking of calling it Sol Invictus. A massive station with a direct teleportation link to all of the planets and realms that were affiliated with the Imperium. A space dock reserved for those same planets/realms. Maybe even a Multiversal transit point for Stargate and future places... 'Shit... I need to visit Linda again! Fuck.'
Blinking a little and breathing to calm myself down and collect my thoughts, I refocused on the designs and needs of these different sections. One would need to be for elves, light elves, effectively high elves... Maybe something like Rivendell, within a small pocket dimension on the station. It could even be big enough to fit thousands of Light Elves. One for Asgard, lots of gold and probably a large tavern/bar. For the dwarves, perhaps some forges, bars and a large meeting hall. The Twi'leks, I'll make them a comfortable area similar to our own; just to hammer home the closeness we now share, some flares of their own culture shining onwards as a nod and wink to their origins. The Alderaanians... Perhaps I shall get Leia to assist me in the design for such a space. For Stargate, Maybe a combined pocket dimension consisting of Asgardian resting spaces and contemplation halls, Jafa training halls and homes and Earth based lounges and resting places.
Knowing that it would never happen unless I do it personally, my Imperium being caught up in a megastructure construction already, I blinked to space and began my construction.
