Chapter 47: Are We There To Wait Or Explore Some More?

Just as the duo got into the kingdom, they were flocked by curious gazes, with some of them following the newly evolved usalian as if they had just found an eccentric new person in town.

"Woaah! What are those!?"

"I totally didn't expect that you're going back with a brand new mutation, evolution? We really need to start categorizing the changes in our body," Immortal Dragon Overlord said with a face full of awe. "And this is not sarcastic."

"Can you still eat with those?" Hoppington threw a canteen filled with figwalker juice.

Despite the oversized arm, Hopscotch managed to catch it just fine, before opening the cap and drinking the liquid. "You're underestimating me."

"Are those what they call tattoos?"

"Did you put a battery in your arm for them to glow like this?"

Beyond the celebratory new year, Hopscotch's new appearance became the main attraction after the addition of firearms and shooting range. When dawn arrived on the horizon, the kingdom continued their everyday work for the sake of progress.

So far, there were no notable issues aside from the lack of consistent yield of food, as it would take months for the first batch of spheruts and other plants to finally bear fruit. Then again, Kurisunetamayo could use her blessing to hasten the growth of the plantation if needed.

As for the increase of waste from the high amount of residents, they all can just be thrown into an unknown space with the power of the usalian queen.

"I feel a little bit tainted now that my work also includes a sewage disposal," Owen uttered with an emotionless deadpan.

As the stains and bio-garbage were thrown into an empty void somewhere out there, Nagan always tried her best when it comes to consoling his wife "You won't be doing anymore after I finish working with the new magic. I promise," he said with an annoying grin.

Now that the foundation of the kingdom had become firmer, it would only be a matter of time until the next generation of usalians arrived. Nagan also had a great idea of utilizing the spiritual telekinesis to remold his soul to further enhance his strength.

There was also a discussion amongst the representative leaders of the kingdom to develop a fusion between psycast and spiritual telekinesis, but that would be a story for another day.

"I wonder if we can turn the trees into a delicious mushy jelly."

"As much of a good idea that is, I don't think the jelly will be anything but bitter, Bluebell."

After Nagan attained a certain level of psycasting power, now he was able to enhance his sense into a greater area. And just as he performed his mass appraisal of the wayward world, something far on the west had caught his attention like a shiny jewel.

So, together with Bluebell equipped with her trusty shovel, and Hopscotch bringing herself for her own weaponry, Nagan embarked to the west in an attempt to find out what kind of discovery they would uncover this time around.

"I'm surprised that you didn't bring Hoppington this time, Patriarch." Hopscotch could be seen maintaining her distance with the other two as they all blitzed through the forest and canyons. "I know that you're capable of doing everything alone, and the reason why you bring some usalians with is most often to stimulate and give the usalians more experience.

"I think that out of every usalians in our kingdom, I'm already the most evolved one of them all."

"I know." Nagan laughed. "Doesn't mean that your heart evolves alongside your body. A person cannot know everything that they lack by viewing the house from a single point of view."

"I don't see the correlation."

"You'll find it soon enough. You're smart, afterall."

"Complementing me doesn't work," Hopscotch said as she tried her best to look in the opposite direction, in the hope that the patriarch couldn't see the current expression she was making.

After a long 30 minute sprint, the explorer team stumbled upon a tall mountain with many unnatural arching parts. This mountain was hidden by the billowing clouds, alongside the mysterious aurora-like barrier that reflected all of the surrounding light to blur this majestic landmark.

Surrounded by a pinkish flora and unique fauna, the body of the mountain appears excavated on one side, with a visible yet ethereal giant string of gold exiting the whole light of a floating musical. The beautiful hue comes with an incredible sense of serenity and warmth, almost as if something rare and historical was laid inside the gaping entrance of the mountain body.

"Almost everything here is completely different from the area near our outpost," Hopscotch said as her eyes were struck by the fantastical image of wayward nature. "Sure, given that we already reached more than fifty kilometers, but the changes in biome are quite drastic."

"Hopscotch, how is the progress of your psycast training?" Nagan asked as he began casting a spell from his fingertip.

Flaming gold aura could be seen emanating from the outline of his figure when he was doing so.

"So far, if I shape my psycast field into a perfect circle, my psycast field has expanded to four meters in diameter." Hopscotch replied, still wondering if that amount of growth qualifies for the standard. "I can feel the positive changes in my body as the size of my psycast field grows. I also tried my best to passively perform my psycast activity whenever I'm doing anything."

"Alright, you can try performing a long-range scanning spell now." Nagan could be seen gesturing his fingers again and again, as if he was marking something on his peripheral vision.
