Chapter 87: Entering Orario
[3rd POV] [Location: Outside Orario]
Looking upon the giant tower, Talia's mates went wide eyed in awe. While Talia was focusing on the city itself, the power that was slumbering inside of it, and the sheer amount of magic there.
Looking to her mates, Talia spoke "You guys ready to go down there? It will be a small walk before we get there"
"Are we going to join a God? I'd prefer to join Loki if we do" Hope asked, looking to Talia.
"Mmm, I think the same. Hestia is nice and all...but Loki will be able to get us into the deeper levels to level properly. That, and she's not nearly as naive as Hestia" Isabelle spoke with a nod, agreeing with Hope.
"What about Hephaestus? She seemed pretty nice in the show" Clary asked.
"She mostly recruits blacksmiths, love. So she'd be sort of useless in comparison to Loki" Talia said, looking to Clary who nodded.
"Would she be interested in the Seraph Blades and Stele?" Clary asked, causing Talia to blink.
"That...most likely. As those things are not from around here. Those runes alone would cause quite a bit of interest in the magical world. Magic in this world is pretty...limited, all things considered. But it has far stronger spells than what you find in either of our worlds" Talia said after thinking for a few moments.
"How are we going to join Loki? I doubt we can just walk up and ask to join her. And I'm not really sure how I feel serving under a God" Hope pointed out, causing Talia to smirk.
"Love, you're talking to me of all people. I'm quite certain that Loki won't have any real control over you, even after giving you a Falna. As for how to join, that's simple, we just have to gain their attention. Either through me, or one of you showing off a bit of your powers" Talia said, looking to her girls.
"So...the Hostess of Fertility then? It's where they hang out at a lot, right? And it has good food too" Clary asked, causing Talia to nod.
"That was my idea. Besides going to the Guild and seeing if I can sell gold for Valis, the currency of this world" Talia replied, causing them to blink.
"They take gold there?"
"Well, considering everything else they take, I'm sure I can sell gold to them in return for Valis. If not them, I'm sure I can find somewhere else to sell it at" Talia said with a shrug.
"What are we waiting for then? Let's get down there!" Isabelle said with excitement in her eyes, Hope and Clary soon joining in on the excited cheers.
Talia let out a small chuckle, before following after her excited mates. All the while, she was reading through the notification that appeared in her vision.
[Congratulations on your second world travel, and first official world travel through the system!]

[Giant's Blood - A consumable item, that upon consumption, permanently increases the users strength by ?? the amount matters entirely on if the user has an affinity to the blood, the proper resiliance/durability to handle it, etc. Also drastically increases the users magic, by ??. Finally, grants the users possibility of ?????? in the future]
[Mask of Darth Nihilus - The mask of the great Darth Nihilus, one of the most powerful Sith in all of history. Imbued into it, is his very life force, after he decided to imbue his life force into his robes, armor, and this very mask. When equipped, improves the users strength in the dark side of the force by 3x. While also drastically increasing the users proficiency in the dark side of the force, as well as increasing the users comprehension speeds in the force in general (more so the dark side). Further uses are hidden. May grow in the future, unlocking further boosts, powers, etc]
Talia's eyes widened ever so slightly at the latter item, before thinking 'Equip the Mask. I'll consume the blood later'
[Mask of Nihilus Equipped]
As she heard those words, a deep breathe escaped her. Her eyes glowed a deep red color as a grin formed on her face. Her power in the dark side had grown, drastically at that. She could feel the change in proficiency, as she realized ways of how she could properly use certain force abilities. She was simply waiting to get another holocron or something, in order to learn more Sith abilities.
"Are you okay, Talia?" Clary asked, noticing that Talia had paused for a moment.
"I'm fine, love. Just adapting to the magic in the air" Talia replied with a smile, causing the three to look at her with narrowed eyes, before nodding.
Walking closer and closer to the long line of individuals waiting to enter, a number of which were not human, the group of four made there way to the back of line.
Talia moved to behind them, so that no one could get any bright ideas about looking anywhere inappropriate.
"Are you going to use the gold to pay the poll?" Isabelle asked, looking to Talia who nodded.
"They should take it. Gold's still valuable, even in this place" Talia replied.
Slowly they moved closer and closer to the entrance, where a set of guards were waiting to take the poll for entrance.
"50 Valis per person" The guard said, looking to the group.
"Do you take trades?"
"Yes, if valuable enough, you may exchange for entrance" The guard said, with a raised eyebrow. As usually people just paid the poll.
"Is this enough?" Talia asked, bringin out a decently sized nugget of gold, the size of her thumb's nail.
The guards eye widened in surprise at the sight, before looking at it "Come with me. For valuables like that, you must get them authenticated"
Hearing this, Talia nodded and followed after the guard, the girls trailing behind her.
The man led them into a room just next to where he was taking polls at.
"We've got a exchanger" The man said to a woman with some more extravagant clothing on 'Looks like a guild member' Talia thought, as the woman looked to her in surprise.
"Hmm? Okay, let's see what you've got" The woman said, only for her eyes to widen at the sight of the gold.
"This...this is what you wish to exchange?"
"Yep. Is that alright? I'm not entirely sure how expensive gold is here" Talia asked, knowing that she could sense if they were lying about the prices, so telling them the truth wouldn't make much of a difference.
"Oh it's fine! It's just rare to see someone exchange something so expensive" The guild woman said, before examining the gold some more.
"This should be worth around...1,500 Valis, give or take" The woman said, after thinking for a few moments.
Talia blinked at the amount, surprised "That's more than I thought. Can I exchange that here?"
"Of course! I'll take out the 200 valis for you four, leaving you with 1,300 Valis" The woman said with a smile, as she moved and began digging through a drawer, bringing out a small puch of coins, and handing it to Talia after taking some out.
"There you go! Are you planning on going to the Guild?"
"Yep, I was planning on exchanging some more gold before getting some food with these three" Talia said with a smile, motioning to her mates.
"Well, how about I show you the way? I was going to make my way back there soon anyways" The woman asked, causing Talia to blink before looking to her mates. All of them glanced at one another, before nodding.
"That's fine, lead the way" Talia said, causing the woman to grin, before walking out the same door they entered from.
Beginning there walk, the group took in the sights of the city of Orario. It was bustling with countless people walking the streets, some with armor and some with robes. All of them had this sort of "Fantasy" vibe going for them. There was dwarves, some with cat/wolf ears, elves, and more.
'So these are adventurers, huh. They're pretty...underwhelming' Talia thought with a small bit of disappointment.
"So where'd you four come from?"
"Hmm? Oh we came from a small village quite a ways from here. You wouldn't know of it" Talia answered, causing the woman to nod. Inwardly she knew Talia was obviously lying, but a number of adventurers did, for personal reasons most of the time.
"Are you here to be adventurers?"
"Those three are, I don't know about me personally though" Talia replied with a shrug. As she wasn't really sure about having a falna on her, or if it would even work on her. Not to mention, that it would be pretty useless for her.
Talia blinked as she felt a gaze on her, she made sure to keep walking, but looked up, towards the tower. A frown nearly formed on her face as she glared towards where the gaze came from. It seemed that was enough to get the one gazing at her to stop.
'That was Freya...she's going to be an annoyance, isn't she? My soul probably looks even more appealing to her than Bell's' Talia thought with a sigh, before focusing back on the Guild Woman.
"And how come you're traveling as a group? Are you all friends?"
"Lovers. We three are all with Talia here" Hope answered, not seeing a reason to hide it. She remembered this was one of those harem worlds, so there's a very likely chance that harem's/an individual having multiple romantic partners, wasn't that weird in this world.
The woman blinked in surprise, before stopping with a smile "Looks like we're here! This is the guild, a place all adventurer's must come to, to exchange magic stones gotten from killing monsters within the dungeon. If you do decide to become an adventurer, you'll be given a specific guild worker that will work with you!"
"And I'm assuming you want that to be you?" Hope asked with amusement.
"Well...uh, if you'll accept me? Oh, and I'm Alexia!"
"Well Alexia, we'll see about that when it get's to that time" Talia replied with a chuckle, as the group entered the Guild.
"Eina! We've got someone who wants to exchange some items for Valis" Alexia said with a smile, looking to a elven woman.
"Come this way, we do our exchanges in a different room, for the privacy of the exchanger" Eina said with a smile, as Talia nodded.
Walking into the room, there was two couches across from one another, with a table in the middle. Sitting in one of the couches, Talia smiled.
"Where is the items you wish to exchange?" Eina asked, causing Talia to smirk.
In response, she simply summoned her gold from a small inventory she had, courtesy of overlord magic.
Flashing onto the table, was...quite a lot of gold. As in, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars worth in her previous life.
Eina's jaw dropped at the sight of the gold, and the sheer amount of it. "I-you wish to exchange all of t-this?"
"Yep! I need Valis, and had some gold laying around" Talia said with a nonchalant shrug. The girls giggled at Eina's expression.
"A-alright, this will take some time though..."

It did in fact, take quite some time. 30 minutes in fact.
The 30 minutes were spent verifying its authenticity, and purity. After that, they had to get permission to do the exchange.
Talia ended up getting tens of millions of Valis in return, roughly 35 million. More than enough for her for now. It was chump change in comparison to someone like Loki, or even most of Loki's adventurers, but it was still a decent amount to her.
Walking out of the guild after giving their goodbyes to Alexia, the group began to make there way to the Hostess of Fertility, after getting directions from Alexia.
"...We're not gonna mention you have like 100x that amount of gold, are we?" Clary asked, looking to Talia who smirked.
"Nope. It's for if we ever run low on money, and for future worlds. Afterall, gold is a valid currency in most universes" Talia responded.
"So, are we gonna try and join Loki?" Isabelle asked, causing Talia to nod.
"Yep. I think she's the best possible choice for you guys. If she tries anything against you guys, I'll just kill her" Talia responded with a shrug. The girls smiled at her words, before nodding, as they got to the entrance to the pub/inn.
Walking in, the group was greeted.
"Hello, you guys need a table?" A human woman asked, causing Talia to nod.
"Follow me then" The girl said, causing Talia to slowly follow her.
Stepping into the Inn, she immediately noticed the bustling atmosphere, the people drinking. But more than that, she noticed a white haired boy, and the power coming from the corner. It seemed...sealed, but she could still sense it.
Glancing, she noticed a short red headed woman, she was tomboyish in appearance, and...flat as a plank of wood.
'So that's Loki huh' Talia thought in interest, as she was seated at the table.
"I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order" The girl said, before walking off.
"So that's Loki?" Clary asked, having noticed the red head when she entered.
"Mmhmm. She's pretty strong, as strong as me without using any of my boosts or other forms. But all that power is sealed right now" Talia said, glancing at the God.
"How are we going to go about doing this?" Isabelle asked, wondering how they wree going to get the attention of Loki.
"I have a feeling we won't have to do much to get her attention"
"Why?" Hope asked, looking at Talia.
"Because she's already looking at me"

And yeah, I decided that the girls will join Loki's familia, as it is the best choice for them, for now at least. Eventually Talia might find a way of making her own familia, but not yet.
Next chapter will have more happening, and will be shorter though.
I ended up getting Darth Nihilus's mask which is pretty sick. It was one of the best items she could have gotten from the Star Wars Item's. It'll come more into play way down the line, but will be pretty important nonetheless.
