Chapter 7: the girls training begins
Leon stood in the dojo on his island where he was practicing on his spinning mōkujin he was practicing using the forms of wing Chun found in the style of jeet-kune-do he knew four fighting techniques from his past life jeet-kune-do, Tang-soo-doo, kyokushin, and shoren kenpo the styles were built of a mix of linear and circular fighting as well as a well rounded mix of strikes, locks, throws, and takedowns.
The moves he practiced on the dummy was a mix of the blocking forms of jeet-kune-do and karate as well as practicing the counter strikes such as the left straight, the jab, the back fist, the body blow, the foot check, and the pasai-koh-shou.
Leon also began teaching the girls some moves for self defense.
" But I don't believe in violence." Said Olivia.
" Olivia Jesus Christ himself told his disciples that there will be a time where they shall need to carry a sword to defend themselves, I'm not asking you to kill or go and beat someone to a pulp im only asking you to learn to defend yourself." Leon said.
Olivia agreed to learn if it only meant defending herself Leo. Decided to teach her mainly some basic moves for self defense teaching her some standard punches such as the jab the straight the body blow and the cross he also decided to teach her one power punch the short hook then he taught her the basic kicks the front kick, the side kick, the roundhouse kick, the crescent kick and the axe kick he also taught her how to snap her kicks hook her kicks and then taught her how to use low middle and high kicks, then he began training Angie Angie had some knowledge of boxing so Leon began teaching her some more effective punches and also taught her some kicks and some wing Chun forms which he had taught Olivia for defense however Leon focused on teaching Angie how to use a rifle and a saber since they would be essential for her to pilot the Phoenix Weiss Ritter, Leon then began instructing Angie in the art of opperating a knight armor leons armors were different as rather than using a standard cockpit they used the spherical panoramic monitor and linear seat cockpit from gundam along with a Tactical Command Operating System Or TC-OS this allowed Angie to move freely while selecting her weapons via a turn dial on her chair arm.
Then Leon noticed Livia was eager to learn how to pilot a machine too even though she knew she never would get the chance or would she Leon decided to teach her how to operate a special machine he had built it was a high mobility special unit called the Gespent knight which combined the concept of the alt Eisen with the weis Ritter and but with more high tech medieval concepts the thing had the speed and mobility of the alt Eisen being it was built off the Alt's frame and Performance Data.
Leon was finishing up the final touches on the machine though so he had Livia practice with the combat data of the machine it was equipped with a set of Vulcan guns in its chest it had a special claw shield on it's right arm and was equipped with a large combat lance which had a drilling lance head on one side and a buzz saw blade on the other and it was also a circuit outlit for magical power for shorter close range combat it had a chain saw sword and for ranged weapons it had a anti-knight armor shotgun and a set of six grenade launchers located in the units shield it wad also made with Zero Orichalcium α, a special variant of zero Orichalcium combined with vibranium alloy, which lucky for him Was stored on his island and it was the only island with a vein of it deep within its core, he decided to have the unit painted Blue since his unit was red and Angie's was white,giving the color scheme of the Atx Team, the Machines were all high performance high mobility units one was the close ranged melee fighter one was the mid to long ranged sniper, and one was the high mobility all round fighter, as a result the group were able to fight on par with each other.
After about three days the girls were capable of Defending themselves with their bodies weapons and Mechs and that meant they were ready Leon mentioned there would be a time when they would need to use more stealthier machinery so Leon built three fighters based of the concept of the Mobile armor called the Sky grasper although it was smaller than a conventional fighter and had less armor it made up for it in higher mobility and stealth,
Leon explained that a machine like this needed to be piloted via the concept of hit and run tactics and evading basically it needed to be used with the idea of purposefully evading direct combat.
The trio began training to pilot the fighters.
" Mm another good day." Said leon.
" That was a intense fire fight." Said angie.
" Yeah it was pretty tough." Said livia.
" Both of your performances were exceptionally great keep this up and you just might become great Adventurers." Said Leon with a wink.
The girls blushed at that.
" So let's hit the baths." Said Angie
" Yay I could use a dip." Said Angie.
After that the girls took a bath and Leon fallowed soon after they were done then the group got a call from the Duke he said that Leon had earned a promotion and had earned the rank of vicecount due to his gentlemanly actions for Angie and his positive dealing with the Prince's posse,
" Sir Leon van Bartforde I hereby grant you the title of vice count and also grant you the permission to pursue my daughter Angie and if you wish the honor student Livia as well.
Leon nearly had a nose bleed at the thought of it.
" Okay girls let's get you two prepared for the next semester." Leon said.
" Yes sir!" The girls said.
The two began studying monsters weaknesses and elemental affinities Leon had Livia research enchantment and support magic while he had Angie study elemental magic meanwhile he focused on learning a bit of both.
" Okay you two time to head back to school." Said Leon.
The three made it back to school aboard the transportation shuttle.
Leon grappled with the situation that he was now able to pursue both girl's openly.
" Sir Leon were ready to begin our training." The girls said.
" Aight come at me with everything you two have got." Said Leon.
" Yes sir." Said the girls they were practicing with swords Angie had a large saber like the Chinese doa Livia had a knight style sword and Leon had his katana like sword the three sparred a great deal with each other eventually the two girls managed to best him.
" Okay you two that's good you e done great now let's rest." Said Leon.
" Leon don't ever change." Said Livia.
" Yes ma'am!" Said Leon.
" Alright you guys well now begin knight armor class this is an advanced class for first years only during second semester you guys and girls will compete using your own personal armors and if you don't have an armor one will be given to you for you to use for this class." Said the group
'" okay now let's begin our lesson." Said the instructor.
For the first day of the class we mainly discussed magic circuits and controls of the knights armors this didn't apply to me or the girls since ours used their own unique control mechanisms and power supplies although technically the girls units could use magic to power up their weapons especially Livia.
During the period we took between the class we began a training class to practice boxing and fencing.
Most of the kids were using ancient pugilism while others were using some more well rounded styles which to me seemed similar to kickboxing while Leon, Livia and Angie all three practiced our mixes of jeet-kune-do, karate, and kenpo,
The others looked at our moves and I swore they whistled whenever we initiated a chain of parries grappling with our blocks and strikes and whenever we used the more acrobatic strikes of our styles at one point Leon tried to replicate a move he had seen in the video game The hazy wheel leon set his feet on fire and executed a fast combination of three consecutive spinning roundhouse kicks and a rolling outside axe kick the move was based off a real kenpo technique known as the lion kick but the move was more of just a circle kick and axe kick combination,
After which the group headed towards their respective academics class.

ian_brooks so this chapter is more of a summary than an actual chapter but it's to let you know that the girls can now protect themselves actually the concepts for livias knight armor is from a game called sunrise heroes two a unit called the ground trouper knight type or GT-type K is a machine with similar descriptions although that unit is red like the alt's livias is blue like bullets huckiebein MK-II I wanted Livia to have a unique unit so the Gespenst Knight or the G-Knight as we'll call it will be her unit
now in the next chapter the two girls will actually put their training to the test against a spoiled brat and her teams machine.
