“Why did you wake up so early?”

A sweet voice that came from behind made Joke pause. Before he could react, someone’s arms embraced his neck from behind and put their chin on his head. There was no need to waste his time guessing. That voice, warmth, and sweet fragrance that he was starting to become more familiar with while also liking it more and more. Those things informed him of the identity of the person who sneakily hugged him from behind.

“Did I wake you up?”

Joke softly replied, reaching back to caress the other person’s head and eliciting an adorable giggle. His vacation partner then released her embrace and sat down next to him to soak her feet as well.

The blonde smiled at him. Her hair was slightly ruffled after a night’s sleep, and although her face had no makeup on, she was still as attractive as ever.

“I’m normally a light sleeper. I was often woken up by emergencies, so it became my habit.”
