Joke cut her off. Belle turned to glare at him intensely while the big sister gave her a gentle smile. Vindtiana lightly touched her sister’s ear…then lightly, and carefully, pulled it.

“How many times do I have to tell you to behave yourself, especially toward your own master? How many more of my lectures do you need to get it into your head?”

This was truly the first time that Joke saw his haughty dragoness act so obedient to someone else. Not to mention how easily and effortlessly that was. The last time she met King’s dragon, Zenos, they were bickering, going at each other’s throats. On the opposite to his memory, the fairy dragon knew how to control her sister…and perhaps all other dragons as well, judging from how they were showing fearful expressions right now.
