“The tournament I mentioned? She was the one who defeated me in the semi-finals.”

As soon as she heard that it was someone who had beaten Rin, Madame Fon let out an “Oh”. It seemed she now had an inkling of who that person was. Then, she showed a wide smile of both satisfaction and relief.

“She beat Ms. Rin? Then she’s probably really strong,” Joke said. “Will someone on that level actually agree to join our team?”

“Yes.” Rin nodded. “She stopped dueling for almost half a year after that tournament. She had a health problem, and her doctor suggested that she should stop dueling until she fully recovered. She’s been focusing on studying and taking care of her health all this time, so she didn’t seriously try to pass the pro license. But honestly, at her level, she could breeze through it.”

“Health problem? Will that be a problem?” Dani asked.
