“What about you? How’s it been this past week? I heard Rin was also helping Dani hunt bosses for your cards as well. How’s it going with the card level right now? …I mean that troublesome card of yours.”

Madame Fon asked with a knowing smile as she took a sip out of a Starbucks cup, the object that seemed to have been a part of her identity already. She seemed to have foreseen the difficulty in his leveling attempt.

“It’s been going alright.” He shrugged. “Now I’m getting a lot more used to the location and monsters in the area.”

“Good. You’re confident you’ll get to the level you need in time, then?”

“Yes. I’m sure I will.”

Joke gave her a faint smile. From his expression and the look in his eyes, everything seemed to be going smoothly. Furthermore, during the preparation period alone, Joke had the easiest job out of them all. Thus, he probably did not face too many problems.
