Chapter 15: Encounter with Acquaintances
In Japan, the Higher-ups of the Jujutsu Headquarters are tasked with organizing the activities of Jujutsu Sorcerers and establishing and enforcing the laws they adhere to.
The command center is established under the Japanese government as the highest authority over all Jujutsu Sorcerers in the country. Members of the Jujutsu Headquarters are generally referred to as 'Higher-ups' and they are led by the Jujutsu Commander, selected by the Prime Minister based on nominations from the Three Great Sorcerer Families.
The Jujutsu Headquarters monitors all investigations and missions involving Jujutsu-related threats.

The Higher-ups gathers in a dimly lit room illuminated only by candles, and they all attentively watch the projector screen.
The projector screen displays a replay of Eiji's battle today to exterminate Cursed Spirits.
The recording doesn't last long, just under 10 minutes.
After the video ends, there is a tense silence.
"What are your thoughts, everyone?" The Jujutsu Commander asks with a heavy voice.
"Kamiki Eiji is a monster on par with Gojo Satoru. He's another threat." One of the Higher-ups speaks up.
"He's an anomaly. It should be impossible for two Six Eyes bearers to appear in the same generation. Not only that, Kamiki Eiji has even developed the Limitless Technique further, his threat level is higher than Gojo Satoru." Another serious Higher-ups states.
"Why is it always the Gojo Family! Why doesn't the Kamo Family have a monster like that? Gojo Satoru has already disrupted the balance of the jujutsu world, and now with Kamiki Eiji, the glory of the Gojo Family can't be stopped." A Higher-ups from the Kamo Family expresses frustration and envy.
"Gojo Satoru often acts recklessly and goes against us. I'm sure Kamiki Eiji is the same, considering both of them come from the Gojo Family." The only female Higher-ups shares her opinion.
"Kamiki Eiji can't be allowed to keep growing. We have to do something." One Higher-ups shows intent to eliminate.
Hearing the comments from the Higher-ups, the Jujutsu Commander says helplessly, "Don't forget, behind Kamiki Eiji is Gojo Satoru and the Gojo Family supporting him. Even if we prevent Gojo Satoru from helping him, with Kamiki Eiji's strength, who can kill him? I'm sure he hasn't shown his full power yet."
The Higher-ups can't speak upon hearing that statement.
They are eager to suppress Eiji's growth or even kill him. But the question is, can they do it?
The reason they tolerate Satoru's reckless behavior is because of his strength, and they can't do anything against him.
"So, are we just going to watch without doing anything?" One Higher-ups asks reluctantly.
"Sigh. There's nothing we can do. Even if we lend the Inverted Spear of Heaven to the Sorcerer Killer to deal with Infinity, don't forget that Kamiki Eiji is the owner of Heavenly Restriction with superhuman physical blessings like Zenin Toji. Even without Infinity, the Sorcerer Killer is not his match."
The Jujutsu Commander's statement silences the Higher-ups.
In the end, the Jujutsu Headquarters approves Eiji's promotion to the Special Grade.

On the other side, Eiji is unaware that he's seen as a thorn in the eyes of the conservative faction's Higher-ups. If he knew, he might prepare countermeasures against the Jujutsu Headquarters in the future.
"I'm in the right place, right?"
Holding his phone displaying the map, Eiji gazes at the small ramen shop in front of him located in a quiet alley.
"Never mind. Since I'm already here, it's too much trouble to look for another ramen shop."
Ignoring the shabby exterior of the ramen shop, Eiji opens the door and enters.
"Welcome."
The ramen shop owner is a bald uncle who looks intimidating but is friendly.
Eiji looks around the shop.
The place is clean, tables and chairs neatly arranged, and the aroma of ramen broth fills the appetizing room.
Sitting in a chair, Eiji looks at the menu displayed on the wall.
"Uncle, I'll have Shio Ramen with chicken broth."
"Osu, please wait; your dish will be served shortly."
The ramen shop owner starts preparing the ramen.
While waiting for the ramen to be served, Eiji plays with his phone. Perhaps because the ramen shop's location is not strategic, there are no other customers besides him.
His hand, which is scrolling through social media, suddenly stops when he senses a familiar Cursed Energy.
After that, the door opens, and one adult man and two young girls enter the shop.
"Welcome. Please sit anywhere." The ramen shop owner welcomes the business enthusiastically.
It's still morning, and he has received four customers already; he's happy that his business is doing well.
"Ehhh... Geto-sama, eating ramen in the morning? That can make you fat. Let's eat at KFC~" Says the stylishly dressed girl playfully.
"Nanako, KFC is not healthy food either." Says the gloomy-looking girl.
"What are you saying, Mimiko! KFC is better than ramen with high cholesterol."
"The fat content in KFC chicken is also high because it's fast food, and its nutrition is low."
"Mimiko, Nanako, stop it. It's impolite to discuss this in front of the ramen shop owner. We apologize."
The adult man mediates the two young girls' quarrel and apologizes to the ramen shop owner.
"Ahaha... No need to apologize. Young people nowadays prefer to eat and hang out at fast-food places like McDonald's, Starbucks, and KFC."
The ramen shop owner responds casually and isn't angry at all.
"Oh, Eiji-kun is here too. It's been a long time since we met. About five years or more?"
The man puts on a 'surprised' expression at meeting an old acquaintance.
"Exactly seven years. It seems you're doing well, Suguru-san."
Putting down his phone, Eiji greets the Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, who is currently wanted for massacring an entire village.
"And you haven't changed, Eiji-kun."
"No, I've grown taller."
"Not that. But your expression. You always have that same expressionless face as before."
"Oh."
"See? You seem uninterested."
Suguru chats casually with Eiji.
"Geto-sama, who is he?" The gyaru girl tugs at Suguru's clothes and asks curiously.
"Oh, right, I haven't introduced you. Eiji, this is Hasaba Nanako, and this one is Hasaba Mimiko; they are twin sisters and also my precious family."
"Mimiko, Nanako, this young man is Kamiki Eiji; he is a key member of the Gojo Family."
Suguru acts as a mediator and introduces them.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Nanako."
The gyaru girl named Nanako extends her hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you."
Being courteous, Eiji also extends his hand.
"Mimiko."
The gloomy girl named Mimiko shyly peeks from behind Suguru.
"Um." Eiji nods in greeting.
"Suguru-san, you haven't ordered ramen yet." He reminds.
"I almost forgot; that's impolite. Owner, I'll have Shoyu Ramen." Suguru says.
"Tonkotsu Ramen." Both Mimiko and Nanako order the same menu.
"Osu. Please wait." Says the ramen shop owner, who has been waiting patiently.
He is unaware that two Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers are having ramen in his small shop.
