Chapter 3: A practice match Edward versus Shinobu
Edward woke in his uncles room he got up and took some aspirin and got in an ice bath he then got dressed and headed to the gym his first match with the company would be within a week and he had to get ready fortunately shinobu with her sense of justice decided to give him a practice match she wanted to see what the boy knew and could do under pressure so she challenged him to an Five star match which meant he had to use both his signature moves and his finisher moves then he had to do an amazing move to wow the crowd.
Fortunately the crowd would be a group of reporters for the local sports magazines.
Edward was getting dressed in his ring gear which a pair of pants like tights with a pair of dragons wrapped around the bottoms a black shirt and a red jacket his boots had the same dragons on the sides of the calves and his gloves which were black biker gloves were patterned with black and red flames.
As he was lacing up fujiko watched him she was assigned to be his manager for now.
"You ready kid?" Asked fujiko she was told to keep an eye out for Edward.
" As I'll ever be." Said Edward.
" You can do this have a little faith also you should know this match doesn't have any disqualifications due to its nature but you can be counted out." Said fujiko.
Edward knew what she was expecting him to do he was supposed to put Shinobu through the announcer table he smirked and maybe he could do it with the flying warrior.
He exited the back stage area and entered the ring before swinging over the ropes and he pointed the index fingers of both hands to the crowd then to the sky and he patted his heart as if to say lord bless ya.
He got down on one knee and he crossed himself before he smacked his left palm with his right in a clapping motion then stood in his corner.
Justice Shinobu came out to the song of hero by foo fighters before she high fives the crowd with her hands in a fanning motion then she climbed in the ring and she bowed to the four cardinal directions and she went to the corner she was carrying her shinai like she was carrying a sheaved sword and she stood in her corner.
The bell rang and Shinobu came at Edward and she went for a hammer lick then used a leg lariate to kick him in the chest she was surprised however when Edward kipped up and he got her with a combination of straights crosses and hooks ending with a huge discus punch.
She managed to get up and went to hit Edward only for him to use a low kick to sweep her leg and trap her in the ropes before he ran over to the ropes and swung on them landing a tiger feint kick then getting her with a spring board cross body.
She was surprised he could pull off a move like this so early he picked her up then he got her in a Augustine back breaker rack before he slammed her hard to the side in a inverted death valley driver that he called his sanity taker then he waited for her to get up and when she did he kicked her with an outside axe kick that he called his Gong Ringer.
She managed to get up and grabbed her kendo stick before striking him in the gut with the handle then she broke it over his back with a huge swung.
Edward felt some splinters hit him in the back but he managed to continue he grabbed her and slung her to the ropes before getting her with a vicious lariate that swept her off the ground he then went to the outside of the ring as he lifted the cover off the announcer table and through away the broadcast gear before he went back to the ring Shinobi had gotten up and planned to go for a super kick but Edward ducked under it and countered with a low kick to the girls gut then used a hammer throw to send her to the outside he left the ring as the refaree began to count.
" One...two...three...-" the official said while Edward hit shinobu in the gut with a deep drilling punch he took her to the table and he climbed up on the table and he hit her with a huge clothesline then he laid her on the table and he went to the ring corner
"4..5..6-" the ref kept counting as Edward climbed in the top of the post then he dove down preforming a triple somersault into a splash that put her through the table.
" Oh My God!" Said the announcer.
" Holy hell holy hell holy hell's the crowd chanted.
Edward took Shinobu back into the ring he smirked that was two finishers and one signature he had to do one last move and that move would be one of his favorites.
He lifted shinobu up and grabbed her in a head lock.
" Can you continue?" He asked in concern.
" Yeah Ive taken worse than this." She said.
" Well here's the last mive your going to see." He said.
And with that he kicked her in the gut before he yanked her legs out from under her the. He pinned her legs down then grabbed her arms and rolled into his back as he administered the Romero special then helped his arms around her neck and pulled her into a side sleeper hold known as a dragon sleeper hold .
" Oh my God the Romero Dragon Sleeper Hold!" Said the refaree said.
Shinobu squeeled as she tapped.
He let her go and he won the match he offered her his hand and lifted her up and thanked her for the match.
After the match the two were in the backstage area where Kazumi was waiting she was in her casual clothes since there wasn't a show tonight.
" You did good E.N. sanity." Said kazumi with a giggle.
" Hey it's an anagram my dad came up with before he was killed." Said Edward.
" Oh I'm sorry well maybe I'll give you a reward since you won let's go on a little date." She said.
" By the way happy birthday Edward." She said.
