Walking into the room Lemon saw Ains holding a piece of paper as
Albedo explained something to him by his side. Upon hearing Nabe's
announcement he looks towards Lemon, setting the paper down he
started.
Hm, took you long enough, really, did you get yourself a habit or

Lemon walks toward Ainz apologetic for his slack responses, sitting
down opposite Ains he asks what's up.

outside as an adventure and he wants Lemon to do the same, telling
him to explore the Baharut empire while he travels to Re-Estize
kingdom
Hmm, I guess this could work out, I need to get to a certain point of
the story to unlock world travel, and this way I can focus on my
adventure with no delay in the story.
As Lemon hears out Ains' plans he also mulls over ways to make his
adventure more entertaining ergo more beneficial to him.

Ok, why not, I also want to explore this world a little, and we will
also cover more ground this way, although this also comes with its

Ainz nods his bonny head as he puts his hands around his chest.
That's why I suggest you bring at least 3 Npcs with you, I will also

Upon hearing this, a voice spoke up from the side expressing its
disagreement with it.
Please reconsider Ainz sama, it's too dangerous to bring only Nabe as
your guard, at the very least, take the same amount of guards as

Albedo suggested her opinion in a worried tone but Ainz disagreed
with her by shaking his head, further supplementing his decision by
telling them his desire to test out his Perfect Warrior Skill and bringing
further people will disturb his plans, after some back and forth Albedo
was forced to accept Ainz's reasoning and step back. He then turns to Lemon asking if he has anyone to accompany him or should Ainz himself select the candidates.

it as he goes back to his previous work.

Lemon walks through the Forest of Tob accompanied by his 3
companions. Caenis and Yuri were acting as vanguards and Solution as
the rouge, they were not wearing their usual outfits but normal
adventure gear.
Ah, man been a while since I smelled this air. Caenis was leading the
group; looking around the forest like a Leopard searching for its next
prey, only stopping to give her new outfit a disgruntled look.
But, hmmm this outfit is so uncomfortable to move in. Caenis
She was wearing a typical leather armour that was the antithesis of her
usual outfit, holding a normal Iron spear and shield, she looked like a
a slightly aggressive adventure that would fit perfectly bullying fresh
adventures in the guild hall.
Fufufu maybe you should have chosen your gears properly instead of
picking things at random. Solution
Solution Epsilon, a beauty that would fit perfectly as one of the high
nobles, with her refined features that exude an air of sinister kindness
and deadly charm, she's one of the Pleiades maids and one of
deadliest among her sisters, She is Predator slime that was created to
seduce anyone with her looks alone, taking this refined form is also
one of those tactics and like her current teammates she is wearing
simple rouge gears instead of her usual maid gears.
As the two's arguments escalate a strict voice interjected in between.

Yuri was wearing a similar armour to caenis but with some additional
iron plating around her shoulder and knees to give her further defence
and charging force, a pair of iron gauntlets strapped around her fist.
She chimes in between the two silencing them.

Suddenly, sounds of shrubs parting came from behind them; turning
back they saw a Basilisk, its eyes going every which way.
Upon seeing the creature Caenis showed a fierce grin said in an
excited tone.
Finally, some prey; was starting to feel this was some kind of nature
park or something with how dull it has been, You guys stay out of

Hmm, well I guess you can handle something of that level by
yourself, but do it quickly I want to reach civilization already. Lemon

Arche never really liked to venture into the forest of Tob since the last
time her team Foresight visited to gather some a rare herb in the inner
parts of the forest, so when their leader Hekkeran brought a mission
to hunt down a Basilisk inside the forest she opposed it; but upon
hearing the amount of gold they would be paid she acquiesced to
him: as her situation demanded quick amassment of money, but at the
same time she thought, her suddenly giving in when the reward was
good enough made her a terribly avaricious person who hides her
greed in a thin façade of caring, but despite this feeling of self-loathing
her teammates did not say anything, just laughed and said.
Hahaha, it's a good thing you have a sense of danger in this kind of
mission, as our leader sure doesn't. Imina
True, so we will be counting on you if something like last time occurs

Remembering this conversation they had before this mission Arche
tighten her grip on her staff, following cautiously behind Hekkeran.
They are now near the deep areas of the forest; Imina the
ranger/scout of their team was leading them, and right behind her is
Hekkeran, who was the main vanguard of the team and their leader,
then there is Arche; the mage, she was a type of trump card for the
team, a mage that can use up to 3rd tier spells and a unique talent that
can see the tier of a magic caster and lastly the person bringing up the
the rear was Roberdyck; he was the healer as well as a semi-vanguard; this
four were slowly proceeding towards the location where the Basilisk was
spotted a few days ago when suddenly they heard sounds of crying
from a few 100 meters away, they all looked at their scout who was
straining her ears as she slowly crawls towards the direction of the
sound, after about 30s she spoke up.
It seems somebody is fighting with our prey and from the sounds of
it, they are winning. Imina
Saying so in a hushed tone she turned towards Hekkeran asking what
to do.
Hmm, well if they are strong enough to beat a basilisk then we better
not do anything to antagonize them; talk about some bad luck, well
At least we can see who they are and if they require any help: we get to

Hearing their leader's decision they started to move towards the noise
cautiously, as they went closer Arche could only hear the sound of one
other person besides the Basilisk, she could not believe that a single
person is capable of taking on a Basilisk alone but when she saw the
fight through the leaves her mouth open on their own, she even herds
sounds of disbelieve coming from around her telling that this must be
some kind of illusion: A woman wearing a leader armour that shouts
"beginner" armed with nothing but an iron spear and bucket shield
was toying with the beast.
While Arche was gawking at the site, she heard Imina's voice pointing out that the woman was not alone, hearing this Arche turned to where Imina was pointing, and she saw three people. Two of them were beautiful women, and if they told her they were angels
she would believe it, the man also exudes an air of nobility; the three of
them gave the scene she was looking at a sense of dissonance like she
was seeing things that she should not.
It seems they are with her, what should we do Hekkeran, if we move
now we might be able to get away. Imina
I I think they know already, one of them is looking our way. Arche
When she mentioned that all her teammates turned only to be greeted
by the beauty with flowing golden locks looking at them with her dead
eyes only a few meters away from them, even Arche who has not
taken her eyes off the group was jolted by the woman's sudden
appearance.
Fufufu, it seems we have some insects, oh which one to step on first,

As Lemon was telling Caenis to stop playing around, Solution suddenly
told him about some spies and promptly disappeared drawing a stupid
sound from him, when he turned around in the direction solution went
he saw that she was about to kill a blond-haired girl.

Hearing his shout not only solution but also his other two companies
paused their movements, Yuri was taking a combat stance, but Caenis, as she
was in the middle of jabbing the spear through the basilisk's head;
took the last dying blow of the beast swiping her away a few meters
disappearing inside the trunk of a tree. (Proving once again that
lancers do have the worst Luck)
'That was close, shees, talk about being fast to act; ok I need to see
who these guys are and If they are friendly, then that be a great
windfall for me.'
Thinking that lemon quickly walked towards the group of intruders,
Yuri was looking back and forth between Lemon and the place Caenis
flew off to; a little confused on how to act but in the end decided to
follow after her master.
Hahaha sorry about that; this lady here is a bit trigger-happy as they
say, I hope you can look over this our rudeness. Lemon
Ah, yes No we are the ones who should apologize for peaking
announced. Hekkeran
Saying so a young man stood up, rubbing off the dirt from his hands,
he outstretched it towards Lemon which he promptly took.
Again we apologize and also thank you, My name is Hekkeran a
worker from the Arwintar, These are my teammates: the one with
the bow is Imina, the small one is Arche and the one with the
morning star is Roberdyck. Hekkeran
I see, well I am Lemon the head of this group, she is called Solution,
the strick looking one is Yuri and the one that flew away was Caenis,

As the two leaders were shaking hands Arche spoke up from the side.
Amm, will your teammate be fine, she seems to have been hit quite
hard. Archie
Saying that she glanced towards the hole left by Caenis.

Ahhhhhhhhh GOD DAME IT. Caenis
The Greek hero jumped out like a kangaroo and landed on the corpse
then as if going through her Yangki phase started to kick and spit
words of discontent to the poor corpse. Seeing this scene unfold the
Foresight members were dumbfounded, till one of them shouted.
W-Wait wait! oi Hekkeran we still need the proof for its subjugation.

Shit, oi Pal can you ask her to stop we need parts of it still. Hekkeran
Hearing this lemon went into negotiation mode asking for them to
show the way to the city and also to fill in some much-needed info
about the Baharuth empire in exchange for the materials from the
Basilisk.
Agreeing to that, Hekkeran gave out a sigh of relive and proceeded to
start carving out the beast. After about an hour they finished
dismembering the beast and started to lead Lemon and the girls
towards Arwintar the capital of the Baharuth empire.
So you guys are not adventurous. Lemon
Yeah, we are workers; we take jobs that are too dark or risky (under
the law) for any upright adventurous, we also don't get any
protection from the adventure guild but in exchange, we get to snack
up all the loot. Hekkeran
Walking through the great forest lemon and Hekkeran chat about the history
and recent news of the Baharuth empire, from time to time Arche chimed in
to expound on topics Hekkeran did not know, Lemon learned that many of
the nobles of the kingdom have been executed or stripped of their title by the
current emperor: Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix
Hmm, seems like the Empire is not so peaceful. Lemon
Haha, no no for the rest of us common plebs, the Empire is a good
place, it's only those Nobels that are in hot water. Hekkeran

Hearing Roberdyck's reproachful tone Hekketan clamps up, but lemon
did not miss the sudden change in atmosphere and the pitying glance
Hekkeran gave to Arche.
'I see she must be one of those fallen nobles but then why is she here,
there must be a reason behind that, well I guess everybody has their
stories. Hehe, time for some magic.'
An awkward air griped them as they proceeded, as this mood
continued as if to cleanse it Roberdyck brought up an interesting topic
Oh ya, I remembered hearing that the black scriptures from the Slane
Theocracy passed through the city recently. Roberdyck
Hearing this Lemon's attention was instantly drawn, he picked his ears
while fainting disinterest. As the conversation between Roberdyck and
Hekkeran continues Yuri and sometimes Solution interjects probing to
draw out as much intel while still not being perceived as suspicious.
'Hmm, from what I am gathering it seems that the black scriptures just
stop by to resupply and they are out on a mission to slay some kind of
Evil dragon. I didn't even think there were dragons here, but I guess I
should not be too surprised, this being a fantasy world and everything.
I (well the girls) need to report what we gathered as soon as we reach the town.'
The two teams continue their track through the forest having pleasant
conversations till they reach the edge of the forest.
So how long is the capital from here? Lemon
It's about a 15 hours walk but there's a village nearby where you can
borrow horses, so it will take about 9 hours; that's how we came
here so we will return the same way. How about you guys? Hekkeran
Horses ha, I am not very good with those, but I guess it can't be
helped. Ok, let's go with that, lead the way Hekkeran. Lemon
As they were walking Lemon asked the question that was bothering him.
So, I know this might be a bit nosey for me, and you can tell me if
don't want to answer: Why are you guys workers? You people don't
look like a bunch of money lovers. Lemon
Hearing Lemon's sudden question the Foresight members gave each
other awkward looks.
Haha, well we all have our reasons and I cannot speak for any of
them, but for me, it is about the amount of money you can get, you
see I come from a merchant family and I want to set up a shop, and
that would take forever if I stayed as an adventure. Hekkeran
Hmm, I too was disillusioned by the restrictions of my fate and the
guild, thus I decided to walk this path. Roberdyck
Upon seeing both of her teammates talk about their reasons Imina
gave a disgruntled sigh and started to speak.
I don't have anything like that, I just don't get along with those stuck up in the guild. Imina
Hearing the reason behind her teammate's descent into a worker Arche
was puzzled by how they were so open about this: to a group of
people they just meet no less
'No not just them, but me too, I feel as if I am speaking much more than I
usually do, true we did not have any reason to hide this information
right? but were we people that inform this kind of personal
information to just anyone? I also feel as if we talked a lot about the
empire on our way here, but I cannot remember what, as I thought
these people are suspicious, hmm I feel a bit lightheaded but I have
to…. Arche'

Are you ok you were Zoning out a bit there? Imina
Archer gave a puzzled look; shaking her head she told Imina that she is
fine, she cannot remember what she was just thinking about but she
do remember what her team was talking about?
I…..My family was one of the Nobles that was stripped of its title….

Archie told about her family situation; the exuberant spending habits
of her parents; and her worries about her two little sisters, she even told things that she kept hidden from her teammates till now, at some point tears started streaming from her eyes, at which Imina gave her a hug drawing small cries from her as she hugs her back.
Damn it, that even drew some tears from me, I was not expecting to
get that kind of info but seeing how her teammates are cheering her
up, it seems their bonds have grown stronger, Haaa, I should cancel my
spell since I got enough out of them.
After some time they reached the village, Foresight took some time to
rest and both parties rode off towards the city. The way there was a
lot less eventful, they stopped only a few times to give the horses
some rest, till finally around dusk and the last lights of the sun faded
they saw the gates of the city.
I see the gate Master, finally, this pain-in-the-ass trip is about to end.
Caenis
At Caenis's loud statement, Lemon gave her a lukewarm smile, but it
seemed that remark touched a nerve in Yuri's sense of duty, she rode
forward to give Caenis a mouth full, to which Lemon promptly turned
away instead going towards Hekkeran followed by Solution.
So, do you guys have any recommendations for an inn, as you can see
we are quite tuckered out. Lemon
Tuckered out ha? Saying that Hekkeran looked at Lemon's three companies
and shrugged his shoulder.
Well if you don't mind a bit on the expensive side, there is a hotel
called Shiroi Lily, it's quite a fancy place so you can find it easily
enough. Hekkeran
As they were taking, they reached in front of the gate, Hekkeran seeing
this got down from his horse and Lemon did the same, they silently
watch the carriages that are going inside the walls in a hurry to seek
shelter for the night, Hekkeran turned towards Lemon to say his
goodbye.
Ok then, Boss this is where we part, I am exhausted, more
emotionally rather than physically…..Hey, boss you ok with us taking
all the rewards for the basilisk? Hekkeran
Yeah, it's fine you guys gave us much-needed info so we are even in
my book. Lemon
Hearing that Hekkeran gave a relieved look, he held out his hand and
Lemon shook it. They said there goodbye and promised to meet up
again sometime in the future.
'Must be rough being the leader of a group like that.'
Lemon looked toward the disappearing figures of Foresight,
reminiscing about his old teammates that he would never hear of
again.
Master, I can silently eliminate those insects. Solution
Out of nowhere, Solution gave a ridiculous proposal completely reeling
him out of his sentimentality.
What! No, listen here I am ordering you to leave them alone ok,
shees can't a guy drown in nostalgia in peace? Lemon

Seeing the apologetic face on Solution a Sadistic feeling grew inside
him, he smirk and gave her plum ass a slap

Hehehe, you like that, I remembered you acted without my permission
last time too; it seems you need a thorough punishment later so be

Ha Ha Of Course Lemon-sama, I am ready to receive any form of

Solution gave a sluty smile at him to which he responded by giving her
butt a nice squeeze and told her to call her two sisters. Looking towards the city Lemon gave a smile, getting excited at the new experiences he was about to taste.
