Chapter 182: A pending debt

 Venessa was heading to the school general library from her faculty when she heard a familiar voice call out for her. She could immediately recognize the person as her dramatic roommate Cynthia.

 "Venessa wait up!" Cynthia screamed from a distance with a loud voice which everyone heard clearly.

 "Hey, how have you been?" Venessa asked Cynthia when she was close enough. It's been a while since she heard from this roommate of hers ever since the birthday incident.

 "I have been doing well but I should be asking you the same question. You have not been in school for over 2 weeks and were unreachable for like a week." Cynthia asked after hugging Venessa.

 "I have been fine, I just have a lot going on." Venessa didn't want to tell Cynthia about the details of the poisoning incident.
