Chapter 245: Words of Assurance from Him

Ye Heng stared into Tang Shi Yi's eyes for a long time. 

He understood what was in Tang Shi Yi's mind. 

Their gazes met for a long time. Tang Shi Yi grew anxious the longer that Ye Heng stared at her without saying a word.

She wondered if the question was too difficult for Ye Heng to answer. 

Tang Shi Yi did not want to make things difficult for Ye Heng. At the same time, she could not help but feel a bit disappointed that she did not get his answer.

"It's okay if you cannot answer. Let's just continue walking." She lowered her head and turned around, wanting to continue their walk. However, before Tang Shi Yi could take another step, Ye Heng tugged at her arm, stopping her from moving.

A brief second later, Tang Shi Yi found herself staring at Ye Heng's face again. 

"I haven't said anything yet. Why are you leaving so soon?" Ye Heng chuckled when he saw the aggrieved look on Tang Shi Yi's face.
