Chapter 68: Get-Well-Soon Gift

Ye Heng stayed around to ask the nurse about Tang Xiao's surgery. Hearing that her surgery was successful and that Tang Xiao had already returned to a normal wardroom gave him a sense of relief.

The little girl was o afraid that something would happen to her.

Fortunately, she survived her surgery and was on her way to recovery. 

Ye Heng thanked the nurse before walking over to Tang Xiao's wardroom. 

He raised his hand to knock on the door but hesitated again. 

Ye Heng was worried about what he was supposed to say if he was to meet Tang Xiao's family member in the room. How would he explain his relationship with Tang Xiao? 

His hand fell on the gift he bought for Tang Xiao again. 

Taking a deep breath, Ye Heng finally knocked on the door. Now that he was here, he should go in and see the little girl's condition.
