Another merfolk standing behind the ferocious one pointed at Owen, his face charged with emotion. "It was them, they not only killed Lord Anbar but also many of our brethren!"

Their faces were animated with a frenzy of murderous intent, a stark contrast to the fear and trepidation they had shown before.

Owen squinted, sizing up the merfolk. "Seems like this one is no ordinary foe. What rank might he be?"

Berkeley's gaze was grave as he responded in a low tone, "He appears to be a tail-general too, but close to the level of a belly-general."

"A half-step belly-general?" Owen was momentarily surprised, then joked.

Berkeley found the term somewhat amusing. "You could say that."

"Whoa, so that's like grandmaster-tier, right?" Finn exclaimed in surprise.
