Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Shikkotsu Forrest
On a certain Forest
The first thing Osamu noticed after performing the jutsu was the dense energy in the location he's currently in.
Due to being able to sense at least 3 kinds of energy inside his body, sensing another one outside which was denser than all 3 energies he''s known so far, seems to be a normal development.
The answer? It was not.
Besides sensory type ninjas, no other ninja would be probably be able to sense it as accurately as he does.
Sensing the energy, Osamu having knowledge of the Naruto assumed it to be Nature energy otherwise known as senjutsu until further verification.
He didn't have to wait long as he immediately sensed an enormous amount of senjutsu approaching him.
'Is this one of the Sages?Will it be the Toads or Slugs?'
He was not inside a cave so snakes were immediately out of the question.
As soon as the bearer of the enourmous presence came face to face with him, Osamu had to lift his sight so he can see the head of the giant slug.
"Uhhhh,,, Hello?" Unsure of what to say, Osamu initiated.
"It has been quite a while since a shinobi graced this holy land with his presence. Tell me your name foreigner?" The slug, most probably a part of Katsuyu asked.
"This humble one's name is Osamu, Yago Osamu." He cupped his fist as a sign of respect.
His intentions after all is to secure a summoning contract.
Seeing his actions, Katsuyu addressed him again.
"Wise. I sense malicious intent from you, I take it you wish to form a summoning contract?"
"Indeed. It would be my honor to represent this lands sage as their contract summoner"
"Very well, follow me so I can tell you the rules of being my contractor." Katsuyu replied
"Yes, Lord Sage."
"I like your manners. Almost the same as Hashirama."
"An honor to be compared to my ancenstor. But why almost?" Osamu asked Curiously.
"He was loud and can be annoying sometimes."
"Hahaha..." Osamu honestly laughed.
"And here I thought I didn't have enough qualification as him. He gained the moniker 'god of shinobi' after all."
"Yet it was not his strength that made him worthy." Katsuyu replied as he gestured Osamu to follow.
One slug and one kid moved further inside the forest.
Soon Osamu was looking at an even bigger Katsuyu.
"Woah! He's bigger than you Lord Sage." Osamu blurted out then he remember something about Katsuyu being bigger than the one who received him earlier.
"Of course, That's my real body after all. And I am a Lady, just so we are clear." Before he could correct himself, Katsuyu clarified.
"Apologies, Lady Sage." Osamu.
"It was an honest mistake. So it is okay, Osamu-kun."

"Currently, the only summoner that has contracted me is Tsunade. Her contract was of course inherited from Hashirama to his son and now to his grand daughter, Tsunade Senju."
"The rules for the Shikkotsu forest contract is as follows.
1. There is no such things as prohibiting you to make a contract with other summons. Unless the other summon prohibits it.
2. You must respect and help your fellow contractors in their time of needs. The most important thing is that you do not fight each other. There must be harmony between the contractors.
3. You are representating the Shikkotsu forest, one of the 3 Holy Lands, your manners and actions are no longer yours alone but is also the reflection of Shikkotsu forest's image. Do not dishonor the holy land.
That is all the rule for being my contractor. Do you have any questions or request?"
"I do."
"Does the 3 Holy land exist within the Elemental Nations?"
"No. However each holy land exists in one dimension only."
"Then does the Senjutsu chakra that exists in the elemental nations different from the holy lands?"
"I don't know how you already have the knowledge regarding that(senjutsu) but the answer is,Yes. I take it your next question must be how can a contractor enter Sage mode in the elemental nations if it is different?"
Osamu nodded.
"You are not yet on the stage where we can discuss about senjutsu. But since you asked, let's talk about it."
'I didn't know Katsuyu was this easy to talk to, I'm already starting to like where this is going.' Osamu thought as he listens intently.
Katsuyu that to use senjutsu, one must first learn to sense the natural energy in their surroundings and gather it inside their body. It must then be balanced with the user's own physical and spiritual energies, which make up their chakra, to create senjutsu chakra.
However, senjutsu can only be used by those who already possess an enormous amount of chakra, as otherwise the natural energy would immediately overwhelm them, since natural energy is extremely difficult to control unlike chakra which is already inside one's body.
If too little natural energy is added to the mix, senjutsu cannot be used, but gathering too much results in the user turning to stone.
In the case of humans, absorbing too much natural energy first causes them to transform into an animal, be it a frog, snake or slug and can only be reversed by expelling nature energy out, but if the transformation is completed, it becomes permanent.
Only when the chakra and nature energy are in perfect balance can a practitioner enter the so called sage mode.
And that although the nature energy from the Holy Lands and the elemtal nation is different, the process of absorbing it to enter sage mode is different.
Mt. Myoboku focus on stillness and calm being one with nature, Ryuchi Cave focus on senses and evolution being one with earth, while Shikkotsu forest focus on peace and healing being one with the forest.
Hearing all of this Osamu was about to ask something.
"No, you are not yet fit to practice senjutsu chakra Osamu-kun." Osamu was not fazed however and asked confused.
"Even if I can perfectly sense the dense nature energy around us?"
"Huh?" Katsuyu was a bit confused then he saw Osamu raise his index finger, the finger easily absorbs senjutsu chakra and started turning pale.
Katsuyu was about to say something when he saw Osamu easily expell the nature energy like it was nothing.
"You, you - you have an impeccable control over it! While it's true that having larger amount of chakra reserves is a pre-requisite for learning senjutsu chakra, it is because only by having a large amount of chakra can one distinguish the difference between them. How can you do this Osamu-kun?"
"Well, let's just say that I've cracked how chakra is formed. I know how to control my spiritual energy and physical energy. I combined it once but it exploded in my face."
Then it suddenly hit him!
What if he tried to stabilize it like how Naruto stabilize rasenshuriken and made it possible for him to throw the jutsu?!!!
'Oh my God!!!'
"I know that look too well." Katsuyu commented.
"Huh?"
"That's the same look Hashirama had when he thought of something new. So, did you think of something new?"
"Yes! Can I try it pretty please?"
"Sigh, even your actions are almost the same." Katsuyu can see Hashirama's shadow to the currently grinning Osamu.

Osamu distanced himself away from Katsuyu.
He focused.
Then he gestured both his hands together as if holding something.
He tries to get her spiritual energy to his right hand and then physical energy to his left hand, simultaneously trying to sense the nature energy in the surroundings.
With extreme focus, he enters shuchu state to make sure nothing goes wrong.
He tries to gather and combined the two energy in the same amount while guiding nature energy as a stabilizer.
To his and Katsuyu's surprise, bluish light energy the size of a thumb formed and expels light through his fingers.
Osamu was ecstatic seeing his attempt work and no explosion happened.
The size of the ball of light increased into that of a baseball. Feeling that it's enough, Osamu hold it over his right hand.
Since he stopped supplying any more spiritual and physical energy, and it was already stable, Osamu wonders if he should throw it or if he can simply shoot it.
"Right on that tree Osamu-kun" Katsuyu suggested. She was very keen on observing the current phenomena in front of her.
Even Hashirama was not able to do this. She wonders if this is the coming of another god of Shinobi.
Osamu saw the tree Katsuyu pointed and aimed his hand that was holding the ball of energy. The ball however, didn't explode or expell.
Was he supposed to throw it? Osamu thinking about it tries to throw it but it didn't come off from his hands.
Katsuyu watching his antics was now convinced. 'He's definitely Hashirama's second coming.'
Osamu thought about how to expell or shoot it. That's when he realized what the answer is.
It was senjutsu chakra that was used to stabilize it, then why not use senjutsu chakra to shoot it???
Once again, Osamu aimed the ball of energy at the tree.
This time he utilized the nature energy once again. As if popping a balloon with a needle, the energy that was condensed exploded like a beam and hit the tree.
The tree exploded and vanished in the explosions along with the rest of the trees behind it for over a few meters.
"Can I try it again?" Osamu asked Katsuyu who simply nodded.
This time Osamu gathered it with a single hand while still in shuchu state. Once the ball of energy formed, Osamu aimed it at another tree.
This time however, he didn't expell it like a beam, he expelled it like a bijuudama.
Boom!
Another explosion.
This time the Katsuyu that received him earlier moved and extinguished the fires created by the two explosion.
"Have had enough? Osamu-kun?"
"Yes, haha. My bad Lady Sage."
"Just call me Katsuyu."
"Yes of course, Lady Katsuyu."

After that, Katsuyu explained her abilities to Osamu while summoned. All of which he knew from the show already but still listened for further insights.
Once that was over, multiple little copy of Katsuyu brought out the contract scroll where Osamu signed with his blood sealing the contract between them.
"Are you planning to return now Osamu-kun? Will someone start looking for you?"
"Oh right! My parents will probably worry about me! I will return tomorrow in the afternoon Lady Katsuyu."
"Let me guess, to train senjutsu?"
"Yes of course. I can control it perfectly so there should be no problem right?"
"Alright, I shall teach you the way of absorbing nature energy and how to properly balance it in the way of the Slugs."
"Sounds good to me!" Osamu replied, then remembered something.
"Uhhh, how do I go back? Hehe"
Katsuyu could only gloat at him and teach him how to go back to the elemental nations and return to Shikkotsu forest.
Although she saw it, she will never say it to Osamu. The way he resembles Hashirama so much.

I_am_Dumb_Iknow
I_am_Dumb_Iknow My initial plan was to have Osamu visit the one piece world and train there during gold Rogers era, same with bleach world before the hollow incident. That way Osamu will have the techniques from the other worlds.
I was beginning to get excited and have Osamu being able to summon those characters from one piece. Imagine summoning White beard?
Then I scratch the idea in the end wahahaha... Now the question, how will Osamu learn kido or Haki? how will he possess a zanpakuto and how will he learn the rokushiki? will he even learn them? I wonder?
