Chapter 10: The Mantis Stalks The Cicada, Unaware Of The Oriole Behind!

"Idiot, move faster, do you want to be discovered by those goblins?"

"Master, please don't be angry, I will make this damn goblin lead the way immediately."

Quirrell said to Voldemort obediently.

At this moment, his head was wrapped in a purple turban that made him look ridiculous.

"Idiot, don't think that anyone can save you, just listen to me obediently, maybe I can consider giving you eternal life after I get the Philosopher's Stone."

"Oh, thank you, my great master, I will serve you wholeheartedly and never betray you."

Quirrell raised his wand after saying that and whispered: "Crucio!"

A miserable cry echoed throughout the underground space.

Looking at the goblin controlled by his Imperius Curse, Quirrell said viciously, "Hurry up, take us to vault 713."

What Voldemort and Quirrell didn't expect was that just before they sneaked into Gringotts, Hagrid had taken the Philosopher's Stone away.

After Quirrell followed the Gringotts goblin to the location of the vault, what appeared in front of their eyes was nothing more than an empty vault, with no stone in sight.

Voldemort shouted angrily: "Bastard, idiot, if it weren't for your cowardice and delaying time, I would have already obtained the Philosopher's Stone."

"Master, spare my life. I beg you, master, please calm down!"

"Idiot, give me your body!"

Along with those words Quirrell's neck turned 180 degrees.

The turban wrapped around his head fell, revealing a grotesque looking face underneath.

"Goblin, answer me, when was this vault emptied?"

"Not long, just a few hours ago."

"Damn it, stupid Dumbledore!."

Voldemort got even angrier after hearing this. He raised his wand, intending to vent his anger by ending the life of the goblin in front of him.

But he didn't manage to complete his incantation as a voice suddenly came from the corner: "Expelliarmus!"

It has to be said that Voldemort was very experienced in combat as he dodged the disarming charm from Lucas, and immediately aimed his wand at the shadowy corner.

"who?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Voldemort saw a figure wrapped in a black robe coming out of the corner.

"I really didn't expect that the famous Dark Lord would end up in this field and become a common thief, tsk tsk tsk."

Lucas' last few "tsks" were full of provocation and ridicule.

Voldemort couldn't stand that and immediately exploded into action, releasing several kinds of dark magic in succession.

The three unforgivable curses were used in turn but unfortunately, he is just a remnant now occupying the half dead body of Quirrell with a magic power not much stronger than Lucas.

Not to mention that Lucas just got a new wand making his manipulation of magic power to become much smoother.

He flicked some spells aside and evaded the unforgivables and said, "That's it? Is that all you've got?"

"Oh, Merlin, such a guy is actually called the Dark Lord, what a disgrace to the title of Dark Lord."

"Hold on, Tom, keep pushing hard, are you not going all out? Wield that damn little stick in your hand harder."

Lucas would never admit that he was venting on his father's name. Although he thought he was stronger, Voldemort never had a chance to fight Grindelwald. And Lucas felt angry just thinking about people comparing them.

The noseless bastard, bullying 110-year-old elderly man, how shameless.

"Imperio!"

"Petrificus Totalus!"

"Crucio!"

"Afflicto!" (Bone breaking curse)

In the process of fighting Voldemort, Lucas also learned a lot of skills.

If it is said that he just relied on his magic wand to fight him at first. Not long after he started to adapt as the fight went on.

"Bastard, go to hell, Avada Kedavra!"

A green light shot towards Lucas.

After dodging the deadly spell Lucas stopped holding back and immediately used the fire shield (protego diabolica) to counterattack.

As the blue fire appeared, Voldemort felt danger from it so he manipulated Quirrell's body to flee far away.

"Bastard, don't let me meet you again!"

It seems that he can't accept his defeat and is just speaking harshly. He also triggered the alarm in the underground vault before leaving.

After Quirrellmort's escape, the Imperius Curse on the goblin gradually failed.

Looking at the strange man in front of him the goblin opened his mouth wide, ready to call his companions to come.

"Imperio!"

There was a flash of light at the tip of Lucas' wand and the goblin's eyes became dull once again.

"Take me to Bellatrix Lestrange's private vault at once."

That's right, it wasn't the Lestrange family vault that Lucas was going to, but the private vault that belongs exclusively to Bellatrix Lestrange.

That year Voldemort took the locket and the gold cup from Helga Hufflepuff's descendant.

After making the two relics into Horcruxes, he handed over the golden cup to his most trusted subordinate, Bellatrix, so the cup should be in her private vault.

The goblin proceeded to take him to the depths as requested.

With the opening of the thick door of the vault a dazzling array of collections appeared in front of Lucas.

But he didn't even look at it because his gaze was fixed on the palm-sized cup on the high platform in the depths.

That's what he's here for, Hufflepuff's Gold Cup.
