Chapter 44: Chapter 44: Factions within the Descendant Sect, Arriving at the Sect's Inner Treasury
The Guardian Law seemed to have a high regard for Awakening, thus patiently explained:
"Our Descendant Sect has been in existence for nearly a thousand years, and through millennia of evolution, it has divided into three factions: the Naturalist Faction, the Fanatic Faction, and the Coexistence Faction."
Pausing for a moment, the Guardian Law continued:
"The Fanatic Faction consists of a group of fanatics who are also the largest and most powerful faction within our sect. They worship the Great Lord, desiring to sacrifice themselves and have the main clan descend upon Blue Star, feeding on all the humans, including themselves!"
Upon hearing this, Awakening slightly furrowed his brow. This Fanatic Faction appeared to be the radical faction within the Descendant Sect, willing to sacrifice even themselves to bring in these alien beasts. It was truly difficult to comprehend.
"As for the Coexistence Faction, they rely on the great mercy of the main clan towards our human race. They hope that after the main clan invades the real world, they can save most of the human race due to our efforts within the Descendant Sect. However, from my perspective, those of the Coexistence Faction are delusional. How can we, mere ants, expect mercy from the main clan? We are not qualified!"
Upon hearing the Guardian Law's words, Awakening found a peculiar expression on his face.
The Coexistence Faction in the Descendant Sect seemed to hold a shred of humanity in their beliefs, thinking that the strength of these alien beasts far surpassed that of humans, hence considering surrender in hopes of human survival. But Awakening knew this was an impossibility.

"Guardian Law, what is the goal of our Naturalist Faction?"
The Guardian Law's face brimmed with admiration, stating:
"We, the Naturalist Faction, seek to embrace the most original and natural aspects of the world... In this materialistic world, we firmly believe that nature is closest to the truth!"
Upon hearing this, Awakening nodded slightly, thinking that if they merely aimed to protect nature, the Naturalist Faction seemed somewhat normal.
However, the subsequent words from the Guardian Law left Awakening utterly speechless.
The Guardian Law fervently stated:
"However, humans are the lowest-ranking race in nature! They have no connection with nature! Only the great main clan is the race closest to truth and nature in this world!"
"So, we must emulate nature, become part of the main clan. Even if we are of the lowest class among them, it's enough to qualify us to get close to nature!"
After these words, the Guardian Law slightly lifted their black robe, revealing the skin on their abdomen.
Awakening was instantly stunned. A large area of black, octopus-like viscera and organs writhed madly on the Guardian Law's abdomen.
Were these human organs?

The Guardian Law seemed to find nothing wrong with Awakening's words and nodded without further comment.
Soon, the group entered deep mountains. The mountain ranges extended, and the Guardian Law led everyone to a massive stone next to a cliff.
The stone, more than ten meters high, appeared no different from an ordinary rock.
However, the Guardian Law took out a token and placed it in a groove on the stone, then addressed the stone:
"Dragon Law! We have come to view the sect's inner treasury!"
Quickly, an invisible light screen appeared on the stone. The Guardian Law gestured to Awakening, then stepped in first.
