Chapter 87: Roundabout

The army reinforcement had arrived just in time, engaging in a full blown war as soon as they touched down. It was after this that the other students finally arrived in the war scene. Even then, not all the students chose to risk their lives in such a clean cut battle of power, they simply weren't strong enough and there was no need to feel pressured.

Ren for what seemed like the first time, was having trouble dealing with the Dhairgi that had attacked him. It seemed quite unfortunate that he had met someone who was as fast as he was, or at least, was high levelled enough that his speed didn't bring an advantage to the table.

'He seems to even be faster than I am.' Ren thought to himself. He hadn't gotten the chance to even refill his force and had only being on the defensive ever since, having only his lightning impulse activated since it granted a 50% boost in defense, which was doing wonders in this moment.
