Romano and Charissa found refuge beneath the sprawling canopy of a coconut tree on the mansion's grounds. Positioned opposite each other laud a table and two chairs, where they indulged in glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice and slices of decadent strawberry cake.

Charissa found solace in the gentle breeze and the melodic chirping of birds, the perfect complement to the serene atmosphere created by the coconut tree. Perhaps, it was also the comforting presence of the man across from her that put her at ease.

They have been seated there for about a minute staring at each other without saying a word. Charrisa was nervous as hell and she could swear she would start stammering if she tried to initiate a conversation

Just when she thought the awkwardness couldn't escalate further, Roman abruptly withdrew his phone, his attention fully absorbed in its screen. Charissa's heart sank, feeling small and irritated by the sudden disconnect.
