Lopez was balancing on the couch while watching the news when his brother made his presence known.

"Ah, Douglas!" Lopez's eyes ignited with excitement as he caught sight of Douglas entering the room.

"Please, have a seat," Lopez gestured graciously, taking his place opposite Douglas.

"I'd like some booze," Douglas stated firmly, his gaze fixed on Lopez.

"Certainly," Lopez responded with a smile, rising from his seat to retrieve two bottles of fine liquor.

Returning with the bottles, Lopez offered one to his older brother.

"Without glasses?" Douglas inquired, lifting a brow.

"I see you're keeping up with the news amidst all the chaos. How does it feel watching other businesses thrive while yours goes down the drain?" Douglas remarked, taking a swig from the bottle.

Lopez's smile faltered at his brother's comment.
