Chapter 48: Outbreak is going to happen

Ethan and Scarlett entered a small room. They were humble and smiled as they entered.

The room was dimly lit, and it was very rocky. In the middle, there was a table. 

Elderly Hungjun and the Human Matriarch were playing a board game inside the office and sitting against each other with the dark wooden table in between them. Neither Ethan nor Scarlett knew what this particular board game was, but they guessed it must be unavailable on Earth.

It looked faintly similar to Shogi, but it was very much different with a pentagon-shaped board. Nothing was comprehensible.

But still, the Human Matriarch was horribly losing if one regarded it out of her expression, and they didn't want to piss her off even before they began negotiating. So, Scarlett and Ethan just observed the game from the side.

Suddenly, Hungjun asked, without taking his eyes out of the game, "I have been waiting for you to wake up and come here. Where is my little Emmy?"
