They killed some more animals that day. Some birds flew by, and another bear was in a cave. But the first halo manifestation was still a distant thing.

They still felt a slight sensation of being stronger, regardless, though. And Ethan's skinny form that had been sapped after using Massless Body became buff again. 

Colorless Essence was indeed a top-tier body-building material. Literally.

So it was not that bad and since they would become Cultivators in some time anyway, they didn't immediately try to get in touch with the Human Matriarch.

There was no immediate need to socialize. They decided to accumulate as much strength as they could before they began socializing and trying to get out of the walls.
