"Let's observe for a bit, we can gauge its strength and come up with a strategy. Remember 'To lose patience is to lose the battle.'" I said, stopping JoJo from just running off and joining the battle.
And as we observed, we saw beams of light leaving weird-looking cannons, all aimed toward the whale. A cloud of smoke covered the whale, but as it slowly cleared the sight of the completely fine whale is what appeared, with only a couple of scratches and bruises.
Before the whale could retaliate though, a beam of light released on the ground, shot up and illuminated the sky. It was as if it was day again, even in the night. The light made it easier to see the whale, and it was a lot more frightening than it originally looked. Even though the whale looked scary, that didn't shake my nerves it helped them. I prefer this to the unknown.
The White Whale, finally given time to fight back, released a massive roar with magic intertwined, the wind pressure brought by this messed my hair up, even from this distance.
The same ones who started this charge ran towards the whale, alone. The White Whale, seeing this, charged down towards them, head first. The whale was inching closer and closer until suddenly, *slash* a lightning-quick slash struck the whale's head, blood pouring out and the whale diverted paths.
"how" I muttered under my breath, not seeing anyone attack the whale, I just saw the injury.
"It was her," Suki said, pointing at the woman at the front of the army, and in her hands was a glowing sword. She was wearing armour befitting a noble and a mount that matched. It was obvious she was the leader of this group, and she had some pretty impressive strength.
"That's it, I've waited long enough. It's time to have some fun. You guys in or what?" JoJo shouted whilst running in the direction of the battle.
"Come on Raito, let's go too. It doesn't even seem that strong, I'll protect you." Suki said, then stood up and pulled on my arm.
"Fine, let's go." Even though on the outside I seemed indifferent, I am anticipating using my stand in real-life combat. We have to kill it one way or another, and Suki seems pretty confident, so it's best to charge in now as a team than to split up.
As Suki, who had managed to climb onto my back, caught up with JoJo, the army once again fired their magical cannons, but this time they did it repeatedly. A smoke cloud once again covered the whale, whilst this was going on the army was splitting into two sides, one going left and the other going right. There were two exceptions though, one was the woman with the glowing sword and the other, he was an old man in a butler's suit, three sword sheaths strapped to his waist.
The smoke cleared and the whale once again charged, this time aimed at the two people in the middle. The butler was the one to charge towards the whale, while the woman stayed back. He jumped from his mount and performed a perfect gymnastic manoeuvre, landing on his feet with practised grace.
The whale's open mouth closed in on the old man until suddenly, he jumped, once again performing gymnastic manoeuvres that put professional gymnasts to shame. With the one sword in his hand, he landed on the head of the whale, then he took his sword and stabbed it into the head of the whale. He held onto his sword firmly, now deeply embedded into the whale, and ran up the whale continuing to cut into it.
Whilst this was going on, the whale, the victim of this assault, cried out in pain and flew further into the sky, shaking its body and trying to get the old butler off of it.
The old man, ever persistent, slashed, sliced, and stabbed at the White Whale, until finally he fell off, giving the whale a moment of respite. Now enraged by the human, the whale dived down, horn first, at the butler, trying to have its revenge.
It was getting closer and closer to the ground, until suddenly, a battle cry was let out by a certain individual. A fist, covered in what looked like electricity, came crashing in on the whale, and then another and another, resulting in a barrage of Hamon-covered fists hitting the whale right in its face.
"HAHA take that white whale, my Hamon overdrive barrage."
Every soldier froze for a moment, shocked to see this strange newcomer suddenly appear and start fighting the White Whale. That was until the beast released a roar. Whilst it seemed like the barrage bruised it, it was still not critical damage.
"Still not down yet huh, your a feisty one aren't you? Well, I've got more where that came from." JoJo shouted once again, still confident in his abilities
The beast man who looked like a hybrid, seeing the extra support as a good thing, instructed his soldiers to continue their attack as planned. And so a barrage of attacks, ranging from physical to magical, were used in hopes of weakening the seemingly endless vitality of this White Whale.
"Are you not gonna help Raito?" Suki asked me. While we did follow JoJo, we didn't engage in battle yet, no we went near to the woman in charge. The one with the glowing sword. As I said previously, knowledge is a power in its own right, something that could decide a battle. So I chose to seek out knowledge from the leader of this group, I'm sure she's also curious about who we are as well, so I see it as a win-win.
-authors note-
The battle is almost here. I think at the moment the strongest is Suki, then Raito then JoJo. Seeing as she has pretty strong magic. I also sometimes look at Vs battle wiki for reference and it also says that Suki(yue) has a higher battle power than the White Whale. So the battle is just gonna be JoJo and Raito fighting with the army, Suki's just Gonna be chilling to the side.
I had to rewatch the rezero white whale battle a couple times so I don't miss anything.
