Chapter 120: Vulnerable state

When Maxixe woke up it was still not yet morning, he felt the cold and soon realized that some time during the night the quilt had fallen to the ground and that's what woke him.

The feel of the cool air against his skin and also Kaoma's shivering as she snuggled closer to him for body heat. 

He had to balance her body being careful not to disturb her sleep while he shifted to an angle that he could reach the fallen quilt. 

Maxixe stared at her, she looked like snow white, a true sleeping beauty, her skin was so pale, her body lay absolutely still once the blanket was returned to its original spot.

This time around he made sure to bundle her carefully in the quilt and made sure she could breathe with the quilt just under her chin

Only then did her breathing return to normal, as for her hair luxuriously long and thick, he did his best to tie it into a messy single plait.
