Chapter 85: Divine Intervention

The desk loudly made a ruckus as the Father of Elaina, Victor bangs both his fists to the surface as he angrily glared at the soldiers who returned with their armor broken.

"What do you all mean you can't get in? Do you think I am stupid?!"

"N-no sir...things seem to be different after we left and we-" Before the guard can finish what he wanted to say, a glass of water is thrown just slightly touching his skin before ultimately falling to the ground and shattering to pieces.

"Useless piece of sh*ts! I never hired you a lot just to be useless! Get out of my sight and find a way to wreck that farm of hers!"

The guards immediately leave the tent to avoid incurring the wrath of the old man. They don't want to get in trouble with someone who is so volatile.

Victor slapped his forehead and sighed as his wife immediately handed him another glass of wine and smiled.
