Chapter 41
DIANA PRINCE
BOOOM!
Darkseid's was sent railing back from his punch, surprised and stumbling as he seemed to be taken aback at the force behind that strike.
"You!"
"Yes, me," Thomas Wayne spoke as he landed on the ground and stared at Darkseid.
"I had really hoped that you did not exist, that this world was rid of dangers like you, but it seems I was wrong," he began as he tore through the armor and scooped out the bloodied form of his brother and pushed it towards her.
"Take him and move back," he said resolutely, not a hint of emotion apparent as he looked her in the eye.
She bit her lip deeply, of how she had wronged him. So, she took Bruce's body.
"Thank you," and with that, she jumped back and watched as Thomas leaned down.
"I had you killed. How are you still alive? And this power, how do you have this power?" Darkseid snarled.
"Science Bitch!" and with that, he blurred once more and appeared right infront of Darkseid and punched him, sending a shockwave throughout the area. The monstrous form of the destroyer of planets was sent rocketing into the sky above as Thomas jumped and came down at him from above. Yet, Darkseid blocked his attack and was able to push him down, and she watched as they raced down to the ground, with Darkseid pinning Thomas below him.
He would have hit the ground until suddenly she saw his eyes glow as laser beams shot out of his eyes and burnt Darkseid's arm off, giving Thomas the opportunity to push him away.
BOOOM!
Darkseid was sent barrelling through a building as Thomas landed unsteadily on the ground.
"GUGH!KUKH!" she looked to the side and found Bruce coughing beside her.
"What is going on?" he asked worriedly as she lay him down and bandaged the worst of his wounds.
"We have been saved," she asked as a tear ran down her eye.
"By who?"
"Your brother."

THOMAS WAYNE
Power was not a foreign concept to him.
He had always had power. Yet power like this, what he possessed now, was simply too different.
With each second he could feel himself growing stronger, he could feel himself becoming more powerful as he stared at the roaring form of Darkseid. The destroyer of planets, galaxy's most feared monster who now bled from his face as he roared and gathered a hoard of parademons around him, and aimed them at him.
Thomas stepped back, as he brought forward his arms and then with all his might clapped them.
BOOOOM!
The sonic boom created sent the parademons crashing away as he glared at Darkseid and pushed himself off the ground.
BOOOM!
"Master!" his left hand, Steppenwolf jumped infront of him and brought down his axe at him.
"ARGH!" It caught him by surprise, and he was sent tumbling to the ground. Though he had made a crater in the ground, he was not hurt as he simply snarled and jumped back at Darkseid's crony, catching him by surprise.
"ARGH!" and without giving him a chance, Thomas pushed him through the Eart's atmosphere as he laid a barrage on him, punching him continuously in the gut, breaking that shiny armor off until they just reached the edge of the planet.
"Now we go back," he snarled as he turned him down and raced down with all his might. The speed and the friction made Steppenwolf's skin burn as they blurred through thousands of miles before he pushed him down, through a building, and into the ground with all his might.
BOOOM!
A massive explosion rocked the area, and as the dust cleared, he found himself staring down at the bloody form of Steppenwolf as Darkseid glared at him, his other underling standing beside him.
"De'Saad!" rage boiled inside him as he stared at that cloaked bastard, and he crushed Steppenwolf' under his feet.
He was the one responsible for everything that had happened to him. HIM! And he would pay him back for the suffering he had caused him, and his family a million times over.
"You see, everyone thinks I am a hero, but the truth is I am not," he said as he looked down at the groaning form of Steppenwolf.
"Unlike heroes, I do not believe in second chances..." and his eyes glew red as Steppenwolf squirmed underneath him.
"...or half measures!" and with that, he let loose the laser beam even as he felt his own eyes burn, felt them scald as he cut through the bastard's arms.
"AGHHHH!"
And then with that done, he turned it off, clenching his eyes in pain as he stepped of teh armless remains of Darkseid's henchmen as glared at the destroyer of worlds.
"It's your turn next!"
"AGHHHH!" With that, he jumped towards him, just as Darkseid did. They locked fingers mid-air as they glared into each other's eyes. Then, surprising him, he swung his leg at him, sending him barrelling into the sky. Yet before he could take off after him, he was blocked by the cloaked figure of De'Saad, whose eyes glew an ominous red as chains of fire erupted from around him and wrapped themselves around him.
And Thomas pushed his power into his eyes, but before he could let out.
"AGHHH!"
BOOM!
He was sent barreling into the ground as Darkseid crashed into him, and he felt pain ripple though him, his vision blurred as the giant monster roared and began to punch him.
"You are nothing! I have killed thousands of ilk like you! I shall rule over this planet, and nothing shall stand against me!"
BOOM! BOOOM!
And he continued to punch him, even as he tried to break from the chains.
"Especially not being so inferior as you!" Suddenly, he saw a red blur race around and hit De'Saad in the air, knocking him down. Immediately, the chains unraveled as he shifted himself at the last moment.
BOOOM!
Darkseid's fist whizzed past his ear as he stared at the monster.
"Let me show you inferior!" With that, he headbutted the monster and sent him stumbling back as he struggled back to his own feet, and then before the giant monster could stabilize itself. He whizzed towards him and punched him in the face before keeping him pushing into the air, and then he appeared right above his face and brought down his heel on his face.
BOOOM!
Thomas was huffing now, his vision still slightly blurry as he stumbled on top of Darkseid, who lay there bleeding, as he pushed his power into his eyes once more.
"Watch out!" he heard someone scream, and suddenly, he pulled back as he turned around in a blur and held De'Saad by the neck, his blade inches away from his chest.
"You will fail. My Master is immortal. He cannot be killed," he gritted out as Thomas crushed his neck.
"We will see about that," and with that, he pulled as he tore off his arm and crashed his body into the ground.
"It's time for you to chill out," and with that, he breathed out slowly as a chilling air erupted from his mouth. He literally began to freeze, De'Saad from head to toe.
And with that finished, Thomas stumbled back and found himself face to face with the most dangerous villain in all of the galaxy.
"It's just you and me," he said as he spat blood to the side and saw teh monster smirk.
"I was right to have you killed earlier; I now see what you are," he said as he cracked his neck.
"Those powers. They are not human or divine. They are Kryptonian," Darkseid said.
"What does that matter? It's just you and me now," and with that, the monster chuckled.
"Oh, but you are wrong. You are alone," he taunted as he raised his fist. Thomas frowned as he looked up and stilled for a moment, seeing the whole sky get blotted with darkness.
"Parademons," he gasped as he saw those buzzing creatures blot the skies.
"As I said, you are alone..." and Thomas turned to face the monster.
"...I have an army."
And he gulped down as he prepared himself, knowing that this was it. The final stand.
"We will see what good it does you."

And so started the fight for humanity!
END CREDIT!
And the students clapped as the teacher shut down the projector and stood up from her chair.
"The battle was brutal and lasted nearly ten days. Humanity had been reduced to a shell of what it had been; half the planet's population had been destroyed, the other half displaced," she began, her voice somber as the mood in the classroom began somberly.
The teacher Sabrina Corleone, alongside nearly everyone in this classroom, had suffered some loss associated with that attack.
"Yet a hero would emerge and save us in humanity's twilight moment. The White Knight, as they call him, would face the monster known as Darkseid for ten days, fighting him and his parademons all over the globe, and just when victory would seem out of grasp, he would make the ultimate sacrifice and blast away into the Sun, bringing an end to a demon that would have enslaved us all."
RING RING RING!
With that, the class bell rang, and immediately, she heard desks being pushed back and chairs scraping the floor.
One of those children would be a blonde girl, whose hair supposedly resembled that of her grandmother, whose name she also shared.
Martha Selina Wayne.
She ran out the school, scanning the crowd of parents before her eyes settled on a person standing there beside a vintage Audi, smiling. Their eyes met, and she ran down the street without looking sideways, unaware of the truck rushing towards her as she screamed loudly.
"Fatherrrrr!"
BONKKKKKK!
SCREEECH!
And only when she heard the shouts did she finally slow down and stilled as she saw the massive truck rushing towards her, yet even in that moment she was not afraid as she heard an all too familiar whisper, as a figure blurred infront of her.
"Marthaa!"
BOOOM!
And the whole lorry came to a halt, as her father appeared infront of her, stopping it with a single hand as he looked at her with a raised brow.
"It's him. Its really him" whispers began to grow as her father tapped her forehead, making her squirm in pain.
"He is still alive! But I thought he was dead!"
"How many times have I told you to look both ways when crossing a street," he admonished her, and she looked down in embarrassment as a crowd began to gather around them.
"Let's get out of here."
