Chapter 6: Hogwarts librarian
[A/N-I am introducing a three-spell format, where every wizard has three spells that are officially his best (can do wandlessly/without incantation/ or is just his strongest) I know it's out there, I am just making this in an official way like it is recognised by the ministry type of way. (eg- Voldemort/Bellatrix- the unforgivables, Harry- Patronus and Expelliarmus, Snape- sectumsepra etc. Also, this is a very high level so this is a thing to be awe of, and not everyone can have these.]

Eren had reached Hogwarts just the next day after the job opportunity was made public.

Requirements-
The person should be of Age.
The person should have a passion for bookkeeping and be well-versed in dealing with children.
The person should be familiar with Hogwarts tradition and history (for reference, Book: Hogwarts- A History by Author Bathilda Bagshot.
The person should meet the minimum requirements of either an Acceptable (A) in all of the basic subjects of Astronomy, History of Magic, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Beasts, and Defence Against the Dark Arts, in his or her OWLs
OR
Exceeded Expectations (EE) in any three of his NEWTS, with Acceptable in History of Magic OWLs
Eligible and interested wizards (or witches) may meet Deputy headmistress, Professor Minerva McGonagall between noon and sunset.

The advertisement had said the meeting was to be held between the deputy headmistress and self, but Eren was not surprised to see the headmaster present.
With him sat the only master potioneer of the British Magical world, Severus Snape.
"Please call me Albus."
"Only if you use Eren with me, sir."
"Your OWL results?" Minerva asked for them, for which Eren shrugged.
"I am afraid I do not quite qualify by my OWL results, Miss McGonagall."
"Then why have you come to waste the time of Hogwarts staff, Mister Yeager."
"I do want a job, Mister Snape- "It is not a position to get by your desire, Yeager."
"Let me complete my sentence, sir. I do not qualify by my OWL results, I do, however, qualify by my NEWT results, here you go." He brought his NEWT results to Minerva.
"I am afraid NEWTs taken before your... condition would not do us any help in a practical sense, Mr. Yeager," Snape commented, without bothering to hide any disdain towards Eren's current physical predicament.
"I had an impression the job was more of a theoretical nature, worry not, my NEWT results were revised just the day before yesterday, Mr. Snape." During the whole conversation, Albus remained silent, until the NEWT results were passed by Minerva in a surprised gaze.

"It seems you are qualified for the post, Mr. Eren, We would, however, like to see your magic in a more practical sense. Can you show us your best three spells if possible?"
Eren just tapped his cane at the ground, and a wall of thick diamonds emerged out of it, enveloping everything in the room, disappearing with the same tap.
"That was my original spell."
"Charms?"
"Transfiguration." He then made a circle on the ground with the same cane and a misty white seagull emerged from its tip, sitting at his shoulder until it finally disappeared.
"A fullcorporeall patronus, that was surprising."
"I fear I do not have my third spell figured out yet, Miss McGonagall."
"Call me Minerva, and welcome to Hogwarts, Eren. As you know the term is already ongoing as of 1st of September, so we expect you to take on your library duties by the end of this week. Your salary is fixed at a hundred galleons per week, with the library budget of 1000 galleons annually."
"Thank you, for the opportunity, Minerva." Albus and Snape stood up, watching Eren leaving the room, when Albus noticed his wand, the Deathstick rolled down as Eren left.
