As the Mana-blocking mist flowing out of the hole in the roof of the prison began to disperse, I intensified the flames around my body and swooped down at full speed, barreling in through the opening and slamming my feet onto the Dragon's back right as it was about to snap its jaws around one of the prison guards, eliciting a sharp, agonized roar of pain from the large Monster as I scorched through the scales on its back and began to burn through its flesh.

It then let out a vicious snarl, my eyes widening in surprise and alarm as it suddenly swung one of its back legs up and grabbed me with it, a sharp gasp escaping my lips as it tightened its grip around me before rapidly flinging me out through the opening in the roof as the flames around my body began to burn its foot.
