"Ugh, whatever...I mean, I'd say this is better than being all tense and anxious about it, I'd just wear myself down mentally. This way, I stay fresh and at a hundred percent," I pointed out with a shrug.

"Or, you're just being lazy. Seriously, how'd you get to be S-Rank with that attitude?"

This is Noine Tinthlett, one of my fellow S-Ranks, and also the oldest S-Rank among the Septen Guilds. Well, she's only old by Sapien standards, anyway.

She's an Elf who moved to Septen a few decades ago, though didn't become an Adventurer until about a decade after that. She then rose up the ranks steadily for a few years before making it to S-Rank, and she's by far the most experienced among us.
