Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Bai Yue'er's Extraordinary Talent.

Shan Cai rushed up to the rooftop holding two pieces of dry-cleaned clothes, shouting, "Wait, wait, Li He!"

There was a group of students on the rooftop, while by the wall, a boy with blood on his face was about to jump off.

The boy, upon hearing Shan Cai's shout, turned around hesitantly and asked, "Who... who are you?"

Shan Cai replied, "Well, if you're asking me, I'm here for delivery. I'm from Shan Cai Dry Cleaners, and your clothes are dry-cleaned, totaling 50 yuan."

As Shan Cai spoke, all the students around burst into laughter.

The boy who was about to jump off the building was left speechless.

Shan Cai, who lacks insight, thought the boy found her price too high, so she took the initiative to lower it, "Then it's 45 yuan. I can't go any lower, but please do come back as a customer in the future."

Finally, the boy spoke, "Ask my family for it after I die."

"Don't say that..." Shan Cai thought the boy was trying to avoid payment, but she suddenly realized and asked in astonishment, "Are you planning to commit suicide? You're studying at such a good school, and yet you're thinking of suicide?"

The boy wore a despondent expression and shook his head, "This isn't a school, it's hell."

Shan Cai immediately retorted, "Isn't the outside world hell?"

The boy asked back, "Have you heard of F4?"

"F4?" Shan Cai looked puzzled.

"Once they label you with a red card, you become a target for the whole school to attack, like me."

Shan Cai finally understood that the boy had suffered violence, and the blood on his face came from that.

"Isn't anyone stopping them?" The righteous girl questioned with her soul.

"Those lawless people always like to gather and be arrogant. If they were at our school, I would have taught them a harsh lesson long ago," said Shan Cai with a cute expression, amusing the boy.

He looked at Shan Cai and said, "I envy your friend for having a friend like you."

With that, the boy jumped off.

Shan Cai was startled and hurriedly rushed over, grabbing the boy's arm before he fell.

That was the entire scene on the rooftop.

With Hang Fei's cue 'action', Bai Yue'er, playing Shan Cai, rushed to the rooftop holding freshly laundered clothes, reciting her lines from the script.

The director didn't call for a halt; the shooting continued.

Soon, Bai Yue'er and the boy began their scene.

I'm not sure if I should praise Bai Yue'er for her talent. Her expressions, gestures, and movements vividly portrayed the image of an eighteen-year-old girl.

Apart from speaking her lines a bit quickly and softly, which made them hard to hear, there were no other issues.

However, this minor issue was corrected during the second take and did not reoccur.

With just two takes, Bai Yue'er smoothly completed the first scene, very successfully.

After finishing the last scene, when Director Hang Fei called "cut," he immediately applauded, saying, "Very good, you did a great job in the first scene."

Other crew members also applauded.

Bai Yue'er was extremely excited, not only did she not hold back the team, but she also received praise and approval from the director. She was so happy she felt like she could fly.

After completing the first scene, the crew prepared to move to another location for the second scene.

When the crew members were moving equipment and props, Bai Yue'er quietly approached Xu Xiuwen and asked, seemingly seeking praise, "How was my performance?"

Xu Xiuwen guessed her intention and didn't hesitate to praise her, saying, "You were fantastic. If I didn't know it was your first-time acting, I would have thought you were a professional student."

Hearing his words, Bai Yue'er smiled broadly.

Then, she suddenly assumed a senior's posture and patted Xu Xiuwen's shoulder, saying in a patronizing tone, "Xiao Xu, I believe you can also perform like me. Don't be nervous, keep it up."

Xu Xiuwen chuckled at Bai Yue'er's antics.

On the first day of shooting, Xu Xiuwen didn't have any scenes; it was all Bai Yue'er's scenes.

After exchanging a few words, they quickly followed the crew to the next location, which wasn't far away, still within the Humanities Building but on a different floor.

At noon, the boxed lunches ordered by Tang Weiwei and the field coordinator Lu Hu arrived.

A total of 100 boxed lunches were ordered from a restaurant on South Street, one that Xu Xiuwen often frequented. The food tasted good, and it was reasonably priced with generous portions.

Including extras, there were only 82 people in the entire crew this morning. No one had special treatment for lunch; everyone had boxed meals, including the director, Hang Fei.

Some people had big appetites and ate two portions, which Xu Xiuwen didn't mind, considering most of the crew were students working for free.

After everyone had received their lunch boxes, there were only ten left on the table.

When the lunch boxes were distributed, Xu Xiuwen was also helping Lu Hu and Tang Weiwei. Each of the three had one lunch box, and there were still seven extra left.

Tang Weiwei looked at the extra boxed meal and walked over to Xu Xiuwen's side, whispering a quiet apology.

Xu Xiuwen was eating his boxed meal when he suddenly heard the girl's apology, feeling completely puzzled.

Tang Weiwei continued, "I'm sorry, I didn't calculate the quantity properly, ordered seven extra servings, and caused waste."

Xu Xiuwen couldn't help but chuckle.

In his opinion, although the production budget was tight, it wasn't worth fretting over a few extra box lunches.

He also knew that this was Tang Weiwei's personality, so he comforted her, saying, "No one can be precise to the point, having a few extra boxed meals is very normal, don't put too much pressure on yourself."

Tang Weiwei nodded, but she was still thinking about how to order meals more accurately, without causing any waste.

After having boxed meals, there was an hour of rest time.

Filming resumed at one o'clock in the afternoon.

For the past two days, there hadn't been any scenes for Xu Xiuwen, mainly focusing on Bai Yue'er and Miss Yang's scenes.

Xu Xiuwen discovered that Bai Yue'er indeed has a talent for acting. Although their drama is a campus youth idol drama with not very high acting requirements, it still requires some acting skills.

However, Bai Yue'er, despite being a newcomer, performs no worse than those professional acting students.

After observing for a day, Xu Xiuwen noticed that under the camera, Bai Yue'er's expressions, gestures, and movements are all very good, and most scenes can be completed in one or two takes, with only a few scenes requiring four or five takes at most.

Xu Xiuwen watched as Bai Yue'er performed on stage, but he was feeling anxious inside.

Both he and Bai Yue'er were newcomers, and now that Bai Yue'er was performing so well, he felt a lot of pressure.

If his own performance fell short when his scenes came up, he wouldn't be able to save face.

In Xu Xiuwen's worry, two days of shooting quickly passed.

Hang Fei privately turned the novel into a script, and even based on the script's content and his overall vision, he drew some storyboard sketches.

Xu Xiuwen didn't understand the craft, but he knew this wasn't something that could be done in just a day or two.

It was evident that Hang Fei had almost sacrificed all his personal time for this drama.

Before we know it, it's already the third day of shooting. This afternoon, there are scenes with Xu Xiuwen, or more precisely, scenes with F4. What we're shooting today is the first appearance of F4.

At one o'clock in the afternoon, before the shooting begins.

With the help of makeup artist Ning Yue, F4, including Xu Xiuwen, has all finished their makeup, and they are all dressed in rented luxury brands.
