Chapter 157: One Hundred and Fifty-Seventh

In the evening, they arrived at an inn.

They didn't always get to stay at inns when on these long trips, especially because of security reasons involving the prince. It was...somewhat refreshing and interesting to Emily that, because they were in Verilonia still, they could stay at an inn.

Once they were settled into their individual rooms, there was a knock at Emily's door, and Mia grumbled and crawled off her. "Mnnah...leave me alone."

Mia stretched out on the bed and yawned, wiggling her butt a bit as she got settled, eyes fluttering shut.

Emily, naturally, ignored her fussy little fae's complaints and hopped up off of the bed, making her way to the door.

"Mnnh...wake me when dinner is ready." Mia flopped over on the bed to fall asleep.

She shook her head at the kitten and unlocked the door, pulling it open.

Adrien was on the other side, dressed far less regally and more practically.
