Chapter 45: Suspicions and interrogation

''16th July...'' 

Daisy had just started picking ingredients for her cake when she heard her arranged 'wedding' date being muttered right next to her. She had no such special feelings for that day whatsoever but it was an unforgettable day. 

''You are that runaway heiress?" 

The familiar voice had a few packages slipping from her grasp. 

Ryle lifted his brow when he saw her reaction, ''It seems like I got the right person.'' 

Initially he had been a little doubtful because he could not see the woman's profile. He only managed to get a glimpse of the woman's figure and somehow it overlapped with that of the gutsy woman in his memories. He had just followed her out of curiosity and he had uttered those very specific words to see if his guess was right or wrong. 

However, her reaction told him that his guess was not wrong. Ryle waved his hand at Benjamin who was following right after him, motioning for him to wait outside.
