Chapter 33: An enticing offer for you

Ryle twirled the gun in between his fingers as he said, ''This whole fiasco led me back to one of my favorite toys I had lost,'' he whispered, "So as a gesture of appreciation, your man died from the slip of my hands instead of going through some intense torture in his," He pointed his chin at Benjamin, "You should be thankful instead."

Benjamin wanted to cry. Boss, why do you paint me evil like this? Why do you sound so innocent while making me sound like a creep? How is it fair? Why is it hard to do a job these days? 

''You bastard…'' Si Yena pushed herself to her feet and grabbed his collar. 

Ryle's finger tugged at the trigger and the woman stiffened, fear replacing the fury in her eyes. 

The sound of footsteps caught their attention. 

Instead of disappearing from the back exit, Daisy strode downstairs calmly. 

Si Yena's eyes were filled with desperation as she looked at Daisy for help.
