No matter where I look all I see is darkness for miles, in this void that I have been in for who knows how long, is this all that happens after someone dies? Oh, right I should probably explain how I got here.
Before I appeared in this void I was just your average girl who loved anime for the diverse stories and animation styles, cough not for the beautiful women in it. But one day when the final episode of my favorite anime My Hero Academia, cough once again not because of the beautiful women, I ended up getting the bright idea to go for a walk two hours before the finale aired because I had nothing better to do.
Don't get me wrong I could have just watched a different anime during those two hours waiting for the final episode to air, but I did an all-nighter binging Future Diary and reading fanfiction, and I felt like if didn't go for a walk or something I might've passed out before the finale aired.
Turns out though taking that walk was one of my dumbest ideas at that point in my life because on that walk I got hit by god damn truck-kun, and here I thought he only went after people who are going to be isekai'd. By the way, one thing they don't depict in an isekai is how much getting hit by truck-kun hurts.
Seriously if I hadn't been a bit numb from not sleeping I may have died right when he hit me, and not after when my body was thrown into a wall from the force of the impact.
Well after I died, I 'woke up' in this void that I've been in for who knows how long, and let me tell you being in a dark abyss gets boring pretty fast.
Though now after reminiscing about my painful death this place feels different, almost like my eyes are closed and the darkness isn't so expansive. I try to open my eyes, but it takes a bit more effort than it once did.
Once I finally opened my eyes I found myself staring up at a blue sky with not a single cloud in sight, and I suddenly could feel grass under my body. Wait, I thought I died, how can I see the sky and feel the grass under me, something isn't right here.
3rd person POV
???: 'Okay, I just need to get the facts straight, I died, was in a void for a while, and now I think I'm alive again?'
...
???: 'DID I ACTUALLY GET FUCKING ISEKAI'D BY FUCKING TRUCK-KUN?!?'
Our protagonist quickly sat up from the shock of her current situation. When she sat up the first thing she noticed was a sliding door across from her, and the reflection she saw in it caused her confused thoughts to stop all at once.
???: 'Is that Himiko Toga, but as a kid?'
True to what she thought, she saw the child version of the yellow-eyed ash-blonde Himiko Toga, who looked shocked with eyes as big as saucers and her mouth agape. When she tried to move Toga copied her movements, which shocked our protagonist even more.
Himiko: I actually got reincarnated as one of my favorite characters from MHA
She said in almost a whisper-like voice, she wasn't even surprised at this point that the voice that came out was child Himiko Toga's, or even that she could hear herself talk in Japanese almost instinctively.
But what did manage to shock her, and allowed her to finally think more clearly was what next appeared in front of her.
[Welcome Host to your new life, and your Quirk Gacha System]
The words that appeared in front of her were in black text on a blood-red panel. When she tried to touch the panel to see if it was real, the black text changed to a different display. The new display showed what seemed to be a roulette wheel that had so many options you would have to use a microscope just to see one of them. This new panel also had three tabs each labeled gacha, quest, and quirks.
Below the wheel were two options: 1x gacha ticket, and 3x gacha ticket. A second panel popped up next to the wheel after she read those two options.
[The Host has been given three free gacha tickets with a guarantee of at least an S rank quirk on the first roll]
Himiko: 'I've actually been reincarnated as Himiko Toga, with a system that can give me quirks, holy fucking shit.'
